Quality product that works well
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
We use this to drain our koi pond every spring so we can pressure wash and scrub it. It works quickly and efficiently even down to the final muddy sludge. Easy to operate, durable and powerful enough to get the job done quickly.

It emptied my pool with no issues.
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
Every year it seems I need to drain my pool due to high TDS levels in my pool water. I got tired of spending a fortune on having a service do this for me or renting a siphon pump from the local hardware store, which only rents in two-hour increments. Enough of that nonsense, so I purchased this pump to save me time and money...hopefully. If I only plan to use it once a year maybe it will last a while. My hope is 5-10 years. I have only used it once, but it drained my entire pool in about 5-6 hours. It's not as fast as the bigger motor pumps, but it did the job with no issues whatsoever. It looks and feels like a quality device. Time will tell, I guess.

Reliable pump
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
I've been using the FOTING Sump Pump 1HP Clean/Dirty Submersible Water Pump (4600GPH Utility Pump) for several planting seasons now, and it's performed flawlessly as my go-to solution for transferring water from a cistern to irrigate my garden. The pump works exactly as expected—no priming issues, strong consistent flow, and it handles the volume I need without straining or overheating. I hook it up to a garden hose, drop it in the cistern, and it moves water efficiently to my drip system and beds. At 4600 GPH, it fills my setup quickly without any drop-off in performance over time. What stands out is how durable this thing is. I've left it in place through multiple seasons (including not bothering to move or winterize it during the colder months), and it still runs like new—no leaks, no motor fatigue, no clogs from typical cistern debris. It's clearly built to last with solid construction that holds up to regular outdoor use. This is an excellent product for anyone needing a reliable, heavy-duty submersible pump for water transfer, drainage, or similar tasks. Highly recommend—I'll definitely buy another if I ever need a backup or replacement. 5 stars!

Great pump even in mucky pond.
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
Great pump. I have a small pond that I drain every spring so that I can clean out all of the leaves and muck that settled into it from the fall. I wasn’t sure how the pump would do since there is a lot of debris in the pond that could clog the intake. But, this little pump worked perfectly. I only had to stop it and clear it once when the water was getting nearly empty. I cleared the muck that I could at that point and let the pump finish the job. It’s easy to clean after pumping too. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect sump pump for pool draining, it moves the water it claims to! She's a beast. Perfect sump pump for pool draining, it moves the water it claims to! She's a beast.
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
The only negative is the 10 ft cord, even 15 or 20 would have been much better. Positives? Well I cant believe it but I not only think this thing can do 4800 gallons per hour I actually think it does more! Its amazing. It can drain my pool faster than the huge rentals I usually use. First I tried it with one of those small metal hoses that have a smaller diameter than a normal garden hose. Unit worked and was quiet despite sitting mostly out of the water and pushing water through a straw basically, it took 6 hours to lower the pool an inch. Then I took a 1 1/2 inch blue pool draining hose and just zip tied it to this unit. I could not believe it, I have to actually sit with this thing its so powerful. You can almost watch the pool level dropping in the pool! 5-10 minutes it did what the little hose took 4-6 hours to do. Only issue was the water could not seep into the ground fast enough, if not running to sewer you really have to baby sit this beast. This thing is sleek looking, not that it matters but also feels like its built solid. It comes with a decent range of adapters. Its really meant to have a 1 1/2 hose strapped to it in order to really take advantage of this beast. For reference my backwash drain is out of action so I got this to drain my pool from the top to lower CYA levels. Only star I knock off is for the 10 ft cord. Some pools are 8 feet deep. You just have to be careful and keep that junction with the extension cord out of the water. I cant say anything about reliability yet but if you are wondering if it can really move that much water, what it claims to? Yes it does. Just pick up a 1 1/2 inch hose, make sure its long enough as this thing really moves water. Noise level? What noise level, you can barely hear it out of the water.

Solid.
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
I was sceptical, but it actually worked. Used it to clear out a manmade pond. It made light work of the job and threw out the old pond water (nutrient rich) onto my lawn! A win-win! Beware that any small particals that get sucked into the device will necessitate your shaking it under water to clear it out.

Powerful Pump That Gets the Job Done
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
Quality I’ve used this pump to move water out of a flooded basement area and later to drain a small pond, and the overall quality feels solid. The housing doesn’t feel cheap, and it handled dirty water with small debris without any issues. It feels like something built for actual utility use, not just occasional light jobs. Ease of Use Setup was simple. I plugged it in, attached the hose, and it was ready to go. The manual operation is straightforward, and the power cord length was enough for my setup without needing an extension right away. Performance The pumping speed is strong and noticeably fast. It moved a large amount of water in a short time, which saved me a lot of effort compared to smaller pumps I’ve tried before. It stayed stable while running and didn’t overheat during longer use. Value For the power you’re getting, this feels like good value for money. It performs on par with more expensive utility pumps and handled both clean and dirty water without a problem. Overall, it’s a reliable, powerful pump that works well for draining, transferring water, and handling tougher jobs when needed.

Will drain to low level but that has a disadvantage!
Size: 1HP SUMP PUMP
Works well if you don't use it against a flexible surface. The very short feet around the bottom allowed the pump it suck up the above ground pool bottom that I was draining and stopped the water flow completely. I was able to use it by placing a hard plate between the pool bottom and the pump. It did remove water to a very low level.
