  • Works Well
I adapt a lot of film lenses to digital cameras, and I had a couple old Minolta SR mount lenses that I wanted to use on my Nikon Z5 and this did the trick. When the Nikon Z-series first came out, finding adapters for it was a challenge, but it is good to see that more companies are making adapters and this Minolta adapter did the trick. Unlike some cheaper adapters, this one holds the lens to the body securely without any risk of falling off or allowing light leaks. In the event you have a Nikon Z-series mirrorless, and are struggling to find an adapter for it, a trick I've used is to get an adapter for whatever lens you have, to Sony E-mount (or NEX) and then get a Sony E-Mount to Nikon Z-mount adapter. It might seem weird to adapt an adapter, but it works. There are far more adapters made for Sony E-mount so sometimes you gotta do whats necessary. I had an Alpa mount lens I wanted to use and the only Alpa to Nikon Z adapter was $150. I already had an Alpa to Sony E adapter, so I bought the Sony E to Nikon Z adapter on Amazon for $20 and it worked great, and still focuses to infinity. ... show more

  • A great adapter
The Minolta MD MC SR Lens to Nikkor Z Mount is an excellent adapter that seamlessly connects my vintage Minolta lenses to my Nikon Z50 camera. Its exceptional build quality ensures a reliable and durable connection, making it a high-quality product.

  • This was perfect for adapting my Vivitar 90 auto telephoto macro to my Nikon Z6.
I like how solid it feels. The lock is firm and snaps right into place on both the camera and the lens. It does not come with a nikon z lens cap, so you will have to get that separately.

  • Good tight fit, excellent price
Using for vintage minolta lenses on a Zf. Fit is excellent, locks up tightly. Lenses focus past infinity and when I tried to shim it out to match infinity the shims ended up so thick that it wouldn't latch any more so not good for that but YMMV. I'm happy to use it as is. I did purchase a KF adapter also and while I like it a bit more looks wise functionally they are the same. ... show more

  • Amazing quality
This worked perfectly adapting my 45 year old Minolta Rokkor-X 35mm lens, to my Nikon Z6. And for the price, I was happy to have it made of metal, and solid in feel. I can't imagine anything better, so why not save 80 bucks.

  • Solid Metal, Works As Intended, BUT....
Works fantastic - but - native Nikon Z Lenses (and other 3rd party lenses) have chemical coatings on the front of their lenses that vintage lenses just don't have. Images from Minolta MD vintage lenses pale in comparison to the high contrast, rich images of native lenses. The Nikon Z makes these MD lenses look like toys. If you have enough money to afford the Nikon Z system, it's probably worth it to spend a bit extra money and buy native, modern lenses and use the camera for what you bought it for. ... show more
