Let’s start with the obvious: This hair is, of course, synthetic and will not feel as soft and satisfying as human hair (but it’s still pretty darn nice). It doesn’t get terribly matted when it’s tangled just takes a little brush from the ends on up. It sheds a little bit when brushing, so be gentle. But on the flip side IT IS A FRONTAL!! This was NICE! Great price and great color. The lace was decent too. I don’t consider myself a wig expert, but this laid nice for me. May need to pluck a little for a more natural hairline (if you prefer), but I have a little widows peak and it looked pretty good pulling it right to the edge, without looking like my forehead disappeared. I have a lil bit of a big head so it was snug and needed a little pulling to stay forward when adhering it (I used freeze spray) so please take note of the cap size. All in all, I loved it! I love this wig. The hair is soft and is not too shiny or synthetic/costumey looking. When I cut the lace after it arrived I used thread scissors and took it slow and it turned out great. The lace goes all the way down above the ears. I used spirit gum to glue the lace down. There is a clip inside the wig cap right on the center of the top of the head. It doesn’t work to have a clip there if you are wearing a wig cap and I think it would work better if you are not wearing a wig cap so the clip has some hair to grip onto. The wig likes to slide up when the lace is not glued down. For negatives I will say is the hair tangles easier than other wigs I have owned. I use a wide toothed comb to comb it out from the bottom up but I feel like I have to comb it all the time. I needed a black colored wig for a cosplay and I wish I had a better picture to show off the wig… but alas I do not. Really happy with this purchase ... show more

I LOVE THIS WIG! I was a first time wig buyer, did A LOT of research and this wig was one of the most widely loved, cheaper wigs. I though it would be a good starter wig, and I was so right. It’s soft for synthetic, easily styled (used wand lightly on lowest heat setting), easily customized, and extremely dense. I got so many compliments from friends and strangers who had no idea it was a wig. I did watch a ton of YouTubers to learn how to customize it, and it did take me several hours to transform it from out of the package to ready to wear, but totally worth it. It wasn’t perfect (I would never expect a $40 wig to be!) so these were the “meh” things. 1,) it’s got a large cap. I have an extremely small head and I had to move the straps all the way to the opposite side holes which leaves a loop kind of sticking out which I have to pin down. However like I said, I have an exceptionally small head so this isn’t a surprise and for bigger headed people or men, this would definitely work for you too which is overall a good thing. 2,) This wig is THICK!! I saw other reviews that said this, and as a first time wig buyer I thought, “Good! Thick = Quality and I have super thin natural hair and I want the opposite” BUT they were right. It might be a little too thick, which can make it hard to manage and heavy (I did have a headache by the end of the night). 3,) It will tangle fast. I have only worn this one day at a time, and when I take it off, the nape is super tangled. However it brushes out easily. If you were going to long-wear multiple nights, be cautious of the tangle (this could be said of most synthetic wigs) There was some shedding, but it’s such a thick wig, and it’s synthetic so it didn’t matter at all. If you’re thinking about making the purchase, do it! Let’s start with the pros: It’s a rare thing to buy something online and get EXACTLY WHAT IS PICTURED. For the price, I’m blown away. I’m a drag queen, so I don’t always have a lot to spend on wigs, but whatever I have to spend I’ll be spending on LucyHairWigs from now on! The hair is so soft, doesn’t tangle badly at all, is pretty thick, and is the exact color shown. As mentioned, I’m a man, so I don’t have a petite head size to say the least. But this wig fits perfectly! The lace blends amazingly and goes all the way down to my ears. Inside is great quality as well. None of those tracks on elastic like the cheaper wigs. Full mesh all the way through. Overall extremely happy! Now the cons: The hairline definitely needs plucked a tiny bit in my opinion, but if you’re someone who isn’t comfortable doing that, you could totally get away without it. As I said, it fits my manly sized head perfectly, so if you’re someone on the smaller side, that could be a con potentially. Besides that I can’t think of anything else negative! ... show more

It arrived quickly and was as described. It was WAY too much hair for me personally though, which made it very heavy. Very pretty and soft. However, I was looking for a more natural red, this is not that. Would be good for a party or something but I would not think it would be comfortable for everyday wear and doesn't look natural. I got this for a Halloween costume so I haven't worn it every day but I want to get another one so I can! The hair is incredibly silky soft. It looks really natural and I've gotten a ton of compliments on it so far. It looks like real hair! It's really inexpensive for how nice I think it is. Ive seen this EXACT wih on Etsy for $150. The lace is beautiful and comfortable first off. I did style the wig by give it some layers and defining the part more. I wore it for hours and I was so impressed. I just bought another one in a different color. I bought the dirty blonde and it looks like the pictures advertised to me.
