This is an absolutely gorgeous watch. It's automatic which I wanted. You can actually see the inner workings. It is not a huge watch but rather sized for a lady. The band is nice and soft. It does not pull the hair on your arms. Fits a larger wrist but will also fit a small wrist. BUT there is not enough contrast between the watch face and hands. I decided to go back to a traditional watch since all my Fitbit bands kept breaking, and I absolutely cannot get over how much I love this watch - beautiful, classy, and the size is perfect for my small wrist. I got the 'silver mesh' style. picture included because I know the photos helped me a lot when deciding if to buy! would totally recommend :) I did need to look up on how to adjust the wrist band length (I feel like instructions should've been included), but it was simple enough. Bought this for my girlfriend for Valentine's day. She loved it. Fossils are a good everyday watch. Not so expensive that you'd be upset that it broke or got lost but also not so cheap that it only lasts a couple years. They're decent quality for the price. Anyway, a new watch is what she needed. She brought me her everyday watch that needed a new battery. She handed me a Timex. Yikes. Fortunately it was February 10th and up to that point I didn't know what to get her for Valentine's day. The media could not be loaded. I've never had this color before and I thought why not give it a try? I bought it and try it and it looked perfect on my tiny wrist. I am a 5 ft tall woman and this add some classy-ness into my day to day life. I liked that there's a lot of hole so that you don't have to poke a hole. The strap was genuine leather and that worked great for me as I have sensitive skin and some watches could cause a reaction to my wrist. It was on sale when I bought it last year and I intend to purchase different color straps. It's not detachable but just want to get the whole thing. The watch itself looks and feels great on my wrist. The face is easy to read, even in the sun. I really like that it has a thin band but a big face. Usually I have to sacrifice readability for something that looks and feels proportional to my wrist and hand size, but no sacrifice here. I bought the peach colored one, and the face is definitely peach and not pink. I’d never seen a watch quite like that. I’d like to get the one that’s dark gray with the gold metal too. I’ve only had it a short time, so I can’t say whether it’s durable. We’ll see! I gave it four stars because the package was dented and had clearly been through some trauma before arriving. The cute little Fossil tin was dented and open, and the watch was actually just loose in the package. The watch looked fine, but it didn’t inspire confidence. Not the watch’s fault! ... show more

I have had this watch since January, so its been about 7 months now. I wear it 24/7 and only remove it to shower or swim. However, I wash dishes daily while wearing it, and also assist my 7 year old with washing her hair while wearing it and it has been thoroughly SOAKED on almost a daily basis as well as cleaning and life in general.. It still functions and looks as good as it did the day I bought it. Still keeps excellent time, and there is absolutely no fraying of the leather. The only signs of wear that I can see is, the spot that lays directly under the face has worn, the leather of the band has of course softened and molded itself to my wrist, and the original shiny, polished look of the metal has dulled a bit over time. When this watch does eventually crap out on me, I would not hesitate to buy this brand and model again. It is a great watch, perfect for those who prefer a smaller face and have small wrists. For me it has been great. Excellent quality. And it is beautiful and goes with pretty much anything. ... show more
