Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

I love Dansko shoes and have always ordered a size 39 that has fitted beautifully. I ordered these shoes and another pair in my usual size 39. Unfortunately, I had to return both pair as they were too large. I tried a pair on at a local store and in these shoes, I wear a size 38.

These are Dansko so I'm not surprised that these were amazing. I used to wear Dansko clogs when I was a waitress for more than a decade. I am now a flight attendant and we are required to wear a shoe with a heel. I saw Dansko had these so I thought I would give them a try. I have a hammertoe, corns, and bunions for reference. I can work all day on my feet and my feet don't hurt. No break in period. I will say when I had an unusually long day the balls of my feet did burn, but I added a ball pad and that took care of that. Many co-workers have this shoe as well and love it. The velcro is really nice because I can adjust the tightness depending on if my feet swell. I tried Clarks heels, Skypro, and Ecco and returned them all. These are it! ... show more

I usually love dansko shoes and own several pairs because I need the arch support. My other dansko shoes I was able to wear right out of the box in perfect comfort. Not these! There's no support, zero. I might as well just foget the shoes and walk on my tip toes all day. I wore them one day and am now on day 3 of pain that runs from ankle to knee. I'd skip this pair, they are adorable, but absolutely NOT worth it. ... show more
