These chairs are really sturdy. The first one I have had for about 18 months. It’s used about 8hrs daily and aside from wd40 it’s not needed any maintenance. I bought a second one so I can put one outdoors also instead of dragging one in and out like I have been. I have had about 17 other rocking chairs over the years none have lasted this long. When I first received the first one I weighted about 300lbs and now am closer to 200 so I’m not sure about the higher weight limit but I’m sure it could do it. Assembly is very easy if you have electric tools but not impossible with the tools provided. ... show more

This chair is very well constructed. Easy to assemble with a smooth and quiet glide. After getting the first one and seeing the quality I went and purchased a second one. Now both of us can sit and glide as we watch the traffic and world go by on our front porch. Highly recommended!

It's a little bigger than I thought (but not a bad thing) and there were a few scratches. It certainly took me longer than the suggested 30 minutes to assemble, with the trickest part getting the glider arms the right way around. Despite watching the video numerous times it was unclear how to attach. I'd suggest placing some sort of marker/sticker to indicate the right way around. Other than it's sturdy and has sufficient room to add cushions if needed. ... show more

Got it on a covered porch so weathering not a problem. I guess it will need spar covering in a few years. It well made just check the bolts in a month.
