Features

  • R4-2RS Miniature Bearing: 1/4 inch bore x 5/8 inch OD x 0.196 inch width. Double rubber seals (2RS) on both sides. 20 bearings in the pack. Fits 3D printers, RC cars, and small hobby equipment.
  • Double Rubber Sealed, Pre-Lubricated: 2RS rubber seals press directly against the inner ring, locking in factory grease and standing up to workshop dust. Arrives ready to install.
  • Chrome Steel, Precision Ground for Smooth Rotation: Tight tolerances ensure consistent, low-noise spin for 3D printers running overnight or RC vehicles at full throttle.
  • Standard R4 Imperial Size: If your old bearing reads R4-2RS or R4RS, confirm dimensions and this drops right in. Not to be confused with metric miniature bearings.
  • 20 Pack: RC cars and 3D printers use multiple R4 bearings. With 20 in the pack, you are covered for a full build plus spares for the next project.

  • Perfect for 3D Printing Projects
I use a roller bearings from time to time in my 3D printing projects. It's the perfect solution if you want/need a wheel or pulley that turns smoothly. You just print a cavity into which bearing fits with a solid friction fit and you are rolling (both literally and metaphorically). I don't have a project at the moment for which I am planning to use these, but I did check them out. No quality issues were found. They spec out consistantly and they turn very smoothly. They are smaller than what I typically use but actually opens up some applications for which the larger ones were unsuitable. Obviously, if I encounter any issues as I put these into use, I will amend my review, but frankly, based on my examination of them, I very much doubt that there will be any issues. ... show more

  • Sealed bearings are GREAT for RC cars.
There are 3 main types of bearings for RC cars. Unshielded, shielded and sealed. Most RC cars come with shielded bearings (hobby grade at least), but the king of durability and performance are the sealed bearings. Water and debris can kill unshielded bearings pretty quickly if you get them too dirty, run em through mud or water. Shield are a lot better because they will keep a lot of the debris out, but not the smaller stuff and not the mud/water. These are sealed to keep all of that junk out so the bearings will perform better for longer and the bearings will last a lot longer. If you are swapping bearings do yourself a favor and spend an extra buck or two and get good ones like these. ... show more

  • Comes in plastic storage containers and seem nicely built Comes in plastic storage containers and seem nicely built
I got these for an upcoming science project involving a solar-to-wind powered model car using these bearings as part of low-friction wheels. They come in cylindrical storage containers (10 per container) which is great for protecting the unused ones from dust and moisture when in storage for future projects. I measured 0.625” OD and 0.2485” ID and 0.1960” wide on a bearing picked at random. I didn’t see any tolerance specifications in the Amazon description and no documentation came with the bearings. They look nicely built and when I put a 1/4” plastic rod in one, it rotated smoothly and didn’t notice any obvious “slop” in the bearing. Can’t wait to build my project! ... show more
