Description

The H.20 is for exclusive use with 3/32" (2.35mm) shank burs. A lever action on the the handpiece body is all that is required to change accessories. It has a molded plastic front grip with tapered sides for easy and close handling, plus pre-lubricated ball bearings that do not require additional lubrication. The collet in this handpiece can be replaced and/or adjusted if the hold on a bur shank is not secure. Watch the video for instructions on making collet adjustments. 5-5/8" long, 1-1/8" dia. (center), 3/8" dia. (front taper), wt. 4 ounces., ship wt. 4.75 ounces. Member of the Foredom system of "Interchangeable Handpieces"

    • Don’t waste your money, save the headache, invest in Italian or Swiss made instead.
Mine lasted about 6 months then I went to use it one day the whole thing spun viciously out of my and not sure what happens to it, but it got stuck and the whole handpiece rotates instead of the shaft that inside. I tried to find videos and support on how to take it apart and fix it but foredom [surprisingly] doesn’t have any nor has anyone made one, you can only find videos on how to fix the Italian faros so that’s all I had to go off of. I tried and failed miserably couldn’t even get the housing off MAJOR dead end I reached out to foredom and after pleading that someone help me fix this a sales rep reached out telling me to ship it back to their HQ for repair but he warned me the wait times are very long for repairs. So basically if I wanted to get back to work THIS YEAR I inevitably have to buy a new handpiece. You can bet I’ll most likely NEVER be buying over priced Chinese trash that has very little support and warranty’s behind them and you shouldn’t either NOT WORTH IT. Take the $90 and invest it towards a $150-$200 Italian [faro] or Swiss [technique] HC hand pieces save yourself the headache and the money in the long run. I had a Foredom H.30 handpiece, and having to use a chuck key each time I changed out a disc was, to say the least, annoying. When I started using radial bristle discs for polishing, I knew that I had to get an H.20 so I finally pulled the trigger. Heaven! This takes no time at all to change a disc (quick change, for sure). It fits in my hand much better than the fatter H.30, and has really increased my speed in terms of finishing pieces.     • So fast!
I have had an h30 forever which is also a great handpiece, but when you are polishing and changing a lot of bits, the quick change really helps speed things up. It also is a little bit smaller and and the narrower tip lets you see a bit better at times. Love it.

There's something stuck in the shank and I can't remove it even when I'm reading the instructions , seriously thinking about returning it, don't know what you stuck in the shank but I can't get it out and the unlock lever only goes to 45 degrees. Not 90.

Awesome hand piece! This is my new favorite hand piece for my Foredom power carving tool. The quick change lever is great for changing bits fast!

    • Love it but collet size limited.
LOVE IT!!! This saves SO much time. The only drawback is that it accommodates one size shank-3/32. I wish there was an adapter to use that would accommodate 5/32 and smaller 16, 18, 20 gauge drill bits.

    • Worth the purchase
This is a game changer not having to deal with the Chuck key. One of those tools that once you have it you’re not sure how you managed before.
