This joy-con holder is an Okay purchase and very affordable. It charges very well both joycons as should. The light that looks like it's a rainbow is a solid color. That doesn't bother my son. I would recommend this for the new Nintendo switch and look forward to continue using it. It is a little weird design but overall it works great my son was happy with it. I didn't expect it to come with a USB so that was nice and they didn't send a cheap one. They do not magnetically go on this like the Nintendo model. They firmly slide in and work as should. I hope this helps. Quality and durability is all there. And it is very easy to use.

Wanted a better grip than the Nintendo version. This is pretty much the same except you can charge your JoyCons. I wanted more of the PowerA tacky grip, but they haven’t released them yet. If you like the one that comes with the system this is fine. I’m looking for a better grip and maybe some classic PowerA themed grips.

This Joy-Con 2 grip doesn't do anything super-special, but it's comfortable and holds the Joy-Con 2 well during use. I also like the status LED, as a bit more effort was put into its design compared to what you see on some other Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 accessories, and it doesn't attempt to blind you like some others. Recommended.

This adapter works just fine, but I can't say that I like it. The official option has parallel rails for the Joycons to rest in making them align the same as they would when actually connected to the Switch2. This, however, has cantilevered rails that put the joycons on an angle and the result is that the natural direction you push to mean up is actually a little to the left on the left one and a little to the right on the right one. It's not impossible to adjust to but it really isn't ideal. Otherwise it does the job, it does charge the controllers and can do so while they're in use.

The Switch 2 Charging Controller is small, tactile, portable, and has a charge-while-you-play feature so that I can play games anywhere, anytime, alleviating concerns about wear and tear on the sides of the console!
