I have been using Valvoline my whole life and I swear by it. I like the full synthetic. It does last longer. Less burning of the oil and it does not cause leaks as some people think that it does. Using it for years with no leaks. The synthetic is a bit thinner than conventional so if you get leaks after switching that is because your car already has damage. You can either fix the car or you can switch back to conventional on the next oil change. The synthetic keeps the engine a lot cleaner but I still change it every 3k miles cause oil is cheap and engines are expensive! Highly recommend and Valvoline product. Save a ton of money changing it myself, and get the peace of mind knowing it was done right. ... show more

I really like how well the synthetic oil works in my generator. The generator manual says to change oil every 25 hours. I did that for the first 4 days for break in, however, since then I have run the generator with synthetic oil and only change the oil when the power outage is over. Even after 12 days of continuous operation the oil is barely discolored and I’m running gas in the generator and not propane. This generator has been backing up power outages for 5 years and still going strong. The only complaint is that it doesn’t ship well and maybe 1/4 cup is soaked up by the package. ... show more

Rating is for the oil. If you order this...order it alone. They had in a box with toilet paper when the box arrived it had oil all over it and the toilet paper box...plus the box was retaped because seem was ripping where the most oil collected. It was not a lot of oil but it sure spread. Thankfully toilet paper was in plastic bags otherwise it would have been useless. ... show more
