Super easy install (as far as the radio goes, dodge left plenty to be desired) and works good so far. Trying to get through the menus to change settings can be a bit frustrating, because it is not intuitive at all. The volume seems pretty low. I have mine up 3/4 of the way on stock speakers just to hear it. Haven't hooked up the back up camera (another dodge issue) so I can't comment on that. The navigation doesn't work. I'm not sure why. May be a menus thing again. When I try to pull up the map I get a message I have to enable sharing location. But I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I need to go through it with the book again to try and set everything up. Dropping a star. Less than a week old and it's having trouble going into android auto. Screen turns black and it acts like it's powered off. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes you can back out. Sometimes it just works. 🤷♂️🤷♂️

This thing is absolute junk. To start with there are zero directions on how to install anything on it. After I found some generic videos on how to do the install, nothing works and the setup guide is completely useless. Worst product I’ve ever purchased.

The media could not be loaded. ****1 month update, down to 2 stars from 5***** its been 1.5 months. Was working solid, minimal issues. Now EVERY single time the unit either does not connect to my iPhone, or it does connect at startup but drops connection while driving. Which leaves you with the AM/FM radio only, and no more streaming music from phone. YouTube is your friend. Written instructions that were included are unclear, but honestly its pretty self explanatory. 2 different harnesses are included. ****to splice your trigger cable for the camera, you splice into the #5 pin of their harmess. I spliced into the BROWN wire on the included harness. Worked perfectly. On The other harness it would’ve been the PINK cable. Remember its the #5 pin regardless of which harness you use**** I used my existing backup camera (tailgate handle). Very good image, good sound, brought my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 into the modern day.

This 9-inch 1280×800 IPS head unit went into my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and breathed new life into the old dashboard. The larger display makes navigation and media controls much easier to see, and wireless CarPlay connects reliably after the system boots. I use GPS navigation frequently on long drives, and the onboard Wi-Fi helps keep maps and apps up to date without needing a phone hotspot every time. Bluetooth connects fast and stays stable for calls and streaming, and FM reception holds steady on both city streets and highway travel. The included 1080P backup camera displays clearly when reversing, which helps in tight spots around town and at the grocery store. The 64GB ROM gives plenty of room for apps and data, and steering wheel controls continued working after setup, keeping things convenient while driving. There’s no internal condensation inside the display — on cooler mornings a bit of surface moisture shows when the cabin warms up quickly, but it clears within a few minutes of driving. For the price, this upgrade delivers strong value with solid connectivity and a modern feature set. It feels worth the cost overall and makes daily driving more enjoyable.
