Well I bought this because I didn't want 20' of extra wire sitting in the cabinet space but I had all 4 wires to run and didn't want to have bug holes in walls siding, cabinets than needed to run the connector through. But when I first started running the supplied wired with just big enough hole I had a problem I hooked a wire before the connector and ran it along side connector than only one wrap of tape. But when going through the walls it always got stuck because it caught on something due to wire on side or it's not pulling from the exact center of connector. So I took my longest connector cut it in 1/2 the length so now I had wire 15' long with male connector end and one 15' with female connector end and when I was running now all I needed to do is cut exact size hole as connector than get 15' small wire through wall and than connect connector from cut wire to good new wire and it pulled it from the center and made things easy . So I have 2 tools now to pull camera cables from the center now one with female end one with male end.

I recently installed the wired backup camera system on a step van, and it has made a noticeable difference when backing up and maneuvering in tight spaces. The camera feels solid and well-built, and the monitor is clear and easy to read. The 1080P resolution provides a sharp rear view, helping me spot obstacles that would otherwise be hard to see. This adds a lot more confidence when reversing in busy loading areas, tight parking lots, or crowded streets. Installation was straightforward. All cables and wires are clearly labeled, which makes connecting them simple. The wires are cut cleanly and easy to attach to other connections if needed. The mounting brackets hold the camera securely, even over bumps and vibrations. The system also has a micro SD card slot for recording, although a card is not included. The manual mentions a controller, but I did not receive one. Despite this, setting up the rear view camera and monitor was still manageable. The infrared night vision works well in low-light conditions. It is not as bright as some premium systems, but it provides enough visibility to see edges of loading docks and nearby vehicles during early morning or evening drives. The parking lines on the monitor help guide precise maneuvering, although I adjusted them slightly to match the truck’s height.
