We bought this gate because one of our cats has leg issues and we didn’t want her to have to jump up for her food anymore. We sectioned the gate to the back of the house to give her personal space to come and go as she pleases and be able to have us access to her food and water without our dogs eating it. I took off the flap to the door and it works great. I love how adjustable the sides are. We don’t have it nailed to the wall and it still works perfectly. Also the brown color is really nice. So. My first cat, 13 year old Zeke looked at it when i put it up to keep him out of our room like 'huh' and 'what is this supposed to do'? And leapt right over it in one swift move like what-ever.
