    • Exact replacement for 2013 Fusion
My 2013 Ford Fusions backup camera has been working off and on for over a month. When it is was not working a message came on the screen saying see the dealer so I dropped the car off at the dealer. Dealer calls back the next day to say the camera is bad and the cost for camera and labor is $1,000 AND the camera is on a nationwide backorder so I said no thanks and went to pick up the car. I paid $140 for the diagnostics but at least that pointed to the camera and not wiring or the Ford Sync system. When I got back home I checked on Amazon and found this camera and read the reviews. I liked what I read and for just under $60 bought it. I saw a video on how to install it. It took a total of less than 40 minutes to take off trunk liner, remove outer tail lights and trim cover to get to the camera. I unplugged the old camera and plugged this new one in and I was very surprised at the quality of the video. It even has the lines like the original one did. No programming was necessary, just unplug the old camera and plug in the new one. Can't beat the 12 month warranty too. I am so happy I found this camera on Amazon and saved $1,000. ... show more

The ford line of these years have the issue of malfunction camera, whilst the quality is avut grainy it did fix the "take it to a dealer camera not working code " which is what I wanted and what I'm haaoig with

    • Good Value for Replacement Camera
I received the camera today and installed it on my wife’s 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid. Externally it looks exactly like the OEM component. Not too bad of a job. You have to go slow so you done break any plastic pieces. Goes back together much quicker than it came apart. When testing the new camera the angle of vision is is a little wider and the lines look different from the original but it all works , even the white turning lines turn with the steering wheel. Installation was a PITA but no fault of the camera itself. The camera image quality is better than the OEM camera that I was replacing. Easy plug and play. Great value!

    • Third time is the charm (update)
Had to purchase this camera after replacing the factory camera on my Ford Fusion with a different aftermarket brand camera which failed due to the lack of waterproofing on an advertised waterproof unit. Unfortunately, the factory cameras for this model are very prone to failure and are a common issue amongst Ford Fusion owners of this model generation. The first of this specific camera previously purched lasted long enough for me to return the previously failed replacement. I decided to give this brand a second chance due to how closely this matched the factory camera image and clarity for the 15 minutes of installed use I got out of it. This replacement is installed, dielectric grease applied and even wrapped the connector from the base of the wire housing up to the body of the camera unit So far, no flaws, glitches, or regrets for giving this product a second chance. Good job, I think I just got unlucky with a defective unit. Update 1/29/2024 Less than 30 days after proper installation, this replacement of the replacement unit is also dead. Picture quality isn’t super sharp… but works way better than my dead camera. The guidelines are about 15 degrees off but again… it works and overall I’m happy with it.
