This product is working fine since we got it about a month ago. We use it for our cheeses that always seem to get moldy and disgusting no matter how tightly we wrap them with clear wrap. We drop the cheese in these small quart-size bags, pull the zipper closing closed, lay them on the counter and apply the hand-held vacuum to the indicated circled "port" on the one side of the bag. Start the vacuum, and within like 6-7 seconds, the air has been removed, the bag all shriveled up and the cheese is good to go back into the freeze until the next time, when we'll pull open the zippered closing and start all over again. Nice little product. I hope the rechargeable vacuum lasts a good long while. ... show more

These vacuum bags are terrific. I first bought a new Foodsaver in 2019 that had a gadget on it I didn’t recognize. It also came with 5 each quart and gallon bags. I never paid any attention to either until this year. Now I use these bags every day. Interestingly, the bags now are MUCH more sturdy than those in 2019 and really make freezing liquids especially easy. They are a bit pricey but I’m finding they hold up well to repeated uses so are a good value. I highly recommend both the Foodsaver Quart and Gallon zipper vacuum bags. ... show more

I was trying to find bags to work with my Waring handheld sealer since the Waring bags are increasingly difficult to find. These Foodsaver bags work perfectly. Even better than the Waring. Highly recommend. I use them mainly to freeze items and use a regular vacuum sealer to sous vide. I’ve found the bags get gross after cooking meat in them and don’t want to waste them since they can be reused otherwise many times. That’s it. I like them. Cheers ... show more

But they are nearly impossible to open. I don't have as much strength in my hands these day and it's a real struggle to open the bags when sealed from the factory. I have to use two pair of pliers!!! Have to go back to the previous style bags.

These bags, with the black seals, are WAY better than the all clear bags that came with the vacuum itself. It wasn’t clear from the description of either one what the difference was, but these are clearly tougher and seal better. Don’t buy the other ones.
