Great price and works nicely with the banana chips I tried it on. The instructions were a little confusing at first, so there was a bit of trial and error involved. That said, once I figured it out, it performed well. It seems solidly built and looks good sitting on the counter, which is always a bonus. For the cost, I’m more than satisfied — a small learning curve is acceptable. I’d recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I chose this Tupoyi Food Dehydrator because I wanted a compact, affordable option for making homemade dog treats. I like that it’s box-shaped rather than oval, because oval dehydrators don’t hold as many pieces at once. It has four racks, which is plenty for my needs. The trays aren’t super deep, and I’m looking for silicone mats that fit this size so I can dehydrate liquids for powders. It would have been nice if the manufacturer included liners for that purpose. Finding the right size has been a little tricky, but I’m still hunting for them. I haven’t used it fully yet because I’ve been under the weather, but I did plug it in and it powers on just fine. Once I’m better, I’ll wash it and get it prepped so I can start making treats. Overall, it seems like a practical, compact option for anyone looking to make homemade dog treats or small batches of dehydrated food.

The media could not be loaded. This dehydrator is really nice. It has a decent size center hole where the warm air comes out so it pulls water out along the way. There is no way to turn down the sound this makes. It's not that bad but there is a fan noise so just to be aware. Each tray has a locking mechanism ish. They have these tabs that lock on each tray in easy to remove. It's very sturdy and is a great value for your money. I highly recommend this product.

I decided I would try my hand at dehydrating fruit since I'm the only one that eats it. So much goes to waste and this seemed like a perfect thing to do. This dehydrator well built(sturdy) is a perfect size as it comes with 5 nicely sized racks to place food/fruit on. It has a stainless exterior which has a white plastic tape wrap that I removed once I realized it. I did your basic Strawberries, bananas, and kiwis. The machine runs quietly and takes very little space on a countertop. The trays clean easily after use. I ran the dehydrator for 8 hours, and the fruit was still a little soft, so I ran it for an hour more. How much you want to dehydrate is up to your personal preference, as well as how hot. One note is the instruction booklet has a nice chart with different foods along with suggested temperature and times, as well as how to maintain the machine. What it doesn't include is how to actually operate the machine. There are buttons for temp, time, item being dehydrated etc. on a nicely lit display, but no clue on which buttons or sequence to push, hold etc. I ended up just pushing buttons randomly till I got what I wanted, but did it not seem very intuitive to operate for me. It's reasonably priced for someone looking to try food preservation through dehydration.
