Works great, need to get more familiar with it. The cleaning of the trays is the only problem. Just let them soak and use a nylon bristle brush, no biggie. Great price, trays held up, easy to use, kove the digital time and temperature control.

Got this on June 4th and have been running it non-stop since (it’s June 14th). Used it to prep road trip snacks so we aren’t snacking on gas station garbage. So far I’ve made cinnamon apple slices, blueberries, grapes, banana, kiwi, strawberry and pineapple. We are also trying to limit red meat intake so I also made a batch of mushroom jerky with king oyster, shiitake, maitake and portabello. All of it has turned out phenomenal. This little thing has done great and is easy to operate.

I really wanted this little dehydrator to work. It’s compact, lightweight, and honestly very cute on the counter. Unfortunately, it simply did not perform its primary function—dehydrating food. I followed the manual and sliced my fruit thin, arranged it properly on the trays, and made sure the unit had plenty of airflow around it. After the recommended cycle time, the fruit was still not dehydrated. I’m stubborn, so I kept running additional cycles to see how many it would take to get results. After five continuous cycles, the fruit was still not properly dried—and to make matters worse, fruit flies had started to gather because the fruit was basically just sitting there warm, not preserved. At that point, I requested a return, and Amazon refunded me and told me to keep the unit. So now I still have it, and I plan to continue experimenting with it to see if it’s successful in any category. I’m wondering if maybe it only works with one tray at a time instead of the full stack, or if slices have to be paper-thin (the manual didn’t specify that, but I’m trying to give it every possible chance). As it stands right now, it did not successfully dehydrate fruit even after multiple cycles, which defeats the purpose. I’ll update my review if I discover any real strengths, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend it.
