I bought this roof rack for a Hyundai Ioniq and was able to jury rig it to fit. I drove 3000 miles with no issues but I also added additional straps since it wasn't a perfect fit. We'll worth my money! I used it to haul lumber last week, worked perfect.

I picked up the 51" x 36" version of this roof basket for my nephew, who is constantly hauling fishing gear, camping equipment, trapping supplies, and all the other outdoor gear that seems to take up every inch of a vehicle. He mounted it on his Subaru and has been using it regularly for the past few months. Overall, we're happy with it. Once assembled and installed, it feels very solid and secure. The basket is well made, has plenty of room for bulky gear, and hasn't shown any signs of flexing or weakness under normal use. It fits the vehicle well and has been a practical way to free up space inside the car. The biggest downside is the assembly. There are quite a few pieces and fasteners, and it took him over an hour to get everything put together and mounted properly. It's not difficult, but it's definitely more time-consuming than some buyers might expect. The other thing worth mentioning is that we've started to notice a small amount of surface rust after about three months. In fairness, the basket has remained on the vehicle full-time through all kinds of weather. The rust is minor at this point and not enough for us to regret the purchase, but if long-term corrosion resistance is a major concern, it's something to keep an eye on. Overall, this has been a sturdy and useful addition for carrying outdoor gear. If you're looking for extra cargo space and don't mind spending some time on assembly, it's a good value for the money. ... show more

This car rooftop rack is fantastic. It’s made from sturdy metal and comes with plenty of hardware, including an Allen key for assembly. Putting it together was straightforward and took about 20–30 minutes from start to finish. Installing it on my SUV was manageable on my own, though having a second person would have made it even easier. I did need a ladder because of the height of my vehicle. The mounting hardware feels solid and secure, and once the rack was installed properly, it felt extremely stable with no movement or wobble. I can also confirm that it holds weight well. My 11-year-old climbed up and sat inside the rack to test it, and there was no bending or flexing at all. It feels very sturdy and well made. Overall, this is a durable, great-looking roof rack that feels reliable once mounted. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

The roof rack came in a fairly large box but the kit was easy to open up and get started with the assembly process. The instructions were helpful and clear, and the product was fairly straightforward to assemble. Fitment of some of the parts was not as easy as it should have been, but it was able to be accomplished with a mallet and elbow grease. Having a second person to help is not essential but very helpful. The quality of the rack is very good, and the bolts went in cleanly and tightened up well. The finish on the parts is a semi gloss black paint, but it did scuff up fairly easily with minor handling during assembly. The metal is likely to develop surface rust fairly quickly due to this lack of coating. The roof rack itself mounts to the vehicle using a set of 4 2-piece clamps that press onto your existing roof beams. The front sign is reversible and can be excluded from assembly without removing stability; however it is a wind deflector and would likely increase the noise if not used. Overall the product is very good and I recommend it. For the price this is a very good value item. It does the job it is advertised to do, and does it well. ... show more
