I even paired it with a twin foam mattress topper to make it even thicker! The only issue I encountered was that it arrived with a strong odor, but I finally remembered that the covers are machine washable, which is an important feature!     • My daughter loves it! It's not only a bed and couch, but also for activites.

I had been looking for something like this for my daughter. For starters, this came rolled and compressed. On the inside of the box was a tool to cut the plastic - so look for that if you don't have a knife handy. I unrolled it and it expanded fully within a couple of hours. My daughter couldn't wait to use it! As a sofa, she feels like she has somewhere to sit that she "owns". Since it's smaller than our sofa, it's easy for her to get on and off. There's enough room for her to play puzzles, art (painting /drawing) and other fun activities. The foam is quite firm, I know some people have complained about that, but I see it as a plus. If there's a negative, it's the chemical smell. it's been a week and it's still there (but very faint). It's headache inducing, so if you are sensitive, this may be an issue. Overall, I'm still giving it 5 stars because the main reason I got this was for my daughter and she uses it every day - and truly enjoys it! ... show more

I placed two layers of 2.5 inch egg crate foam on this and it made it soft yet firm. I like my beds soft, so two foams it is. I have others in family who would prefer only a single foam (firmer). Perhaps some would prefer it without any softening, but it is quite firm. Overall, good stuff.

Very sturdy . VERY Firm! I like a firm mattress . I like a Very Firm mattress. This is really dense Firm foam which is good because it will last. Even for me however , it was too hard to be comfortable on for sleeping- I am not a light person - 5’8” and 170lbs. I bought a 3 inch mattress foam topper, folded it in half and THEN had some comfort. Love than it can be folded into a ‘chair’ or like a stack of pillows to save space or to sit on. ... show more

I have a small art studio work space and full sized furniture would be ridiculously big and too expensive for my needs. I bought this originally for my dog to use with enough space for me to sit with her occasionally. I love it! Pushed in the corner of the room it isn’t in the way and makes a nice nook for my dog and I to take breaks. I can easily extend the first cushion to stretch out my legs. It is unbelievably comfortable and far better than I expected. My skeptical husband sat on it today and was impressed with the comfort and from him, that’s high praise. The material is sturdy and will hold up well. The cushions bounce back to shape so no sagging. I just can’t say enough about it. I haven’t slept on it but I could easily see it in a child’s bedroom for an extra sleepover mattress. Excellent option for the money. ... show more

The zipper broke and can't get it back on track, the whole seam is busted open so it looks bad all flapped open and foam showing The foam is nice though Tried to rerurn it but don't want to pay for the heavy item packaging, so probably have live with it It's comfortable but we can't put in sitting position and be able yo hide the zipper malfunction bought 2 of them for 2 kids in upstairs den. Fail. Hopefully the second one we bought on the set will hold up longer than a week : (. May have w make 2 new slip covers for them to cover up the problem. Don't buy this if you plan to sit on it or use it except for very light activity, it won't hold 30-45 pound children without busting open (in my experience) ... show more

We love it! It was fully assembled straight from the box. We use it as a gaming couch for our young boys. also they using this for a noontime reading couch in family room. The seat depth and height are definitely less than a normal couch, but this is perfect for kids. The fabric is good quality—soft and matte, not the cheap shiny stuff. The cushions are just the right firmness. No weird smells and light weight. very easy to carry to other room. We can fit one grownup plus one kid on here. It’s a bonus that it folds out into a twin size bed for when they have a friend stay over. So good. recommend it！ ... show more
