This is an awesome foldable bar stool. Its slender design does not take from the comfort. The seat is padded and quite comfortable. It is sturdy for a grown man just over 200lbs. The stool itself, only weighs 7 1/2 lbs and has a compact fit when folded. It's versatile in that it could be used as an extra chair around a couch, desk or it's the perfect height for bar seating.

First the positives: The stool is easy to open and has a decent cushion (see picture of stool setup). At 7.7 pounds It is also one of the most lightweight, making it easy to hang and store in a closet (see picture of stool hanging from closet door). For a lightweight stool, the quality of the construction is decent - most of the parts move easily and it seems fairly stable. Now the negatives: As you can see from the picture, the back is at an angle that makes it useless. If you sit directly on the cushion and lean back onto the backrest you risk tipping over backwards. Even if you scooch backwards on the cushion with your butt half off the back, the backrest is still at too steep of an angle to sit comfortably making the backrest useless. Another issue is the pin which locks the stool in place to prevent it from accidentally folding up while in use is very hard to pull out while you fold up the stool.. Finally, while the stool is comparably priced with other similar stools, most of the others are rated for 300 or 400 pounds while this stool is only rated for 220 pounds. Bottom line, the stool is constructed well, but it fails in functionality and versatility.

The cushions are small, but quite comfortable. They feel securely attached to the frame. The metal loop at the top makes it very easy to grab. It feels sturdy when I use it, with no bending or wobble. It folds flat which really helps with storage. The chair legs have a hard plastic end to prevent the metal from scratching the floor. The height is a little short for a child to use by a counter, but works fine for an adult. The latch that locks the chair in the open position doesn't work well on my stool. The spring is loose, and the tip doesn't pull back far enough to allow the chair legs to pivot. (See photos.) I had to bend the metal with a pliers to allow the tip to move, which is a point, and it scrapes the metal when I fold the chair. I am not sure if that is due to a design flaw, or just a problem with the individual stool I received. It does lock in place, and the stool is sturdy to sit on, I just have trouble folding it for storage.

This folding bar stool is a lifesaver in our house, we have a huge family and there are always visitors popping by. This is my second stool like this, and I absolutely love them. They aren't low like most folding or camp chairs, they fold up slim and can fit easily in so many places, and they look really attractive. The seat is comfortable and covered in thick, durable vinyl, with plenty of cushion. The metal has a nice coating too, thick enough to keep it looking good in our chaotic house. It is stable and sturdy to sit on, and we've used them both indoors and on our patio. This bar stool is well worth the money, the quality and comfort is excellent. I can fit it in the space between my fridge and counter, or easily in our pantry. Highly recommend, this is an easy 5 stars.

I waa very excited for this barstool to arrive. I was actually waiting for it day by day for quite some time. It took awhile to arrive and I was so anxious because I had some big plans for it's usage. However, once the bar stool arrived, it fell short of the mark. First of all, the packaging was badly damaged, but thankfully that didn't affect the quality or the integrity of the barstool itself. Once out of the packaging, I noticed that it was very lightweight which isn't necessarily a problem, but the back of the barstool is not comfortable at all and neither is the seating portion of it. It's rather hard and uncomfortable especially for a "cushioned" seat. While it looks good, it is slightly smaller than I envisioned and had hoped. The barstool is sturdy, but because of it's lack of weight on it, I would take care not to move around much. This folds yp nicely and takes very little space. Not quite the best value for the price. I can't really recommend this unless you are looking for something cheap in a pinch, but it makes for a seat when you need one at least.

This is a nice folding bar stool, and I appreciated that it arrived fully assembled. The seat is on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if you prefer a wider seat, but it feels well made and is comfortably padded. I also like that it folds up easily for storage, making it convenient to tuck away in a corner when not in use. My biggest concern is the locking mechanism used to open and close the stool. Opening it is simple, but closing it requires much more force than I expected. I find myself having to almost yank the mechanism to get it to release, which is concerning since the instructions specifically say not to apply force. It doesn’t feel like it will hold up well over time. One other minor complaint isn’t about the stool itself but the shipping. Amazon packed it in an unnecessarily large outer box, even though the product’s own box was sturdy and well-fitted. It seemed like a lot of wasted packaging.

This folding stool has several things going for it. It arrived fully assembled, feels sturdy, and folds flat for easy storage when not in use. The seat cushion is nicely padded, and the lightweight design makes it convenient to move around or take on the go. The waterproof surface is also easy to wipe clean, which is a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me is the angle of the backrest. Instead of providing comfortable support, it leans at a very awkward angle that makes sitting on the stool uncomfortable, especially for more than a few minutes. I was expecting an ergonomic design based on the description, but the backrest just doesn’t feel natural or supportive. Overall, it’s a well built, portable stool with several practical features, but the uncomfortable backrest kept me from enjoying it. If comfort is a priority, especially for longer periods of sitting, this may not be the best choice.
