I've only had it a few days and like it so far- will update this review if need be. I shopped around and considered many different ones before choosing this one, despite this one not having too many reviews yet, which made me nervous. Here's why I picked this one: 1) It uses an electric outlet; not a fan of the ones that use USB ports. 2) The drain hole is not right near the electric cord (the competitor model I considered had this faulty design- the East doll model). 3) The sturdy design- good solid lid; upper part that goes out past the rest of the body, to keep water from dripping on the bottom. I am using this washer for only a few small items at a time- a few pairs of socks OR a few pairs of underwear OR a small tank top. Got it so I could make less visits to the laundry room. Don't overstuff it with too much- I can definitely see the motor dying if you put too much in it. My other suggestion is to let the motor cool between uses- don't do too many loads in a row. What should be improved about this unit: 1) Wish it was a little bigger- just a few inches taller and wider, to accommodate slightly more clothes at once. 2) Wish the fill line was easier to read- it is the same color as the inside of the unit. Would be better if it was a contrasting color to make it more visible. Overall, good value for the money, if you use it correctly- for very small items, a few at a time. ... show more

It's certainly more convenient than having to go to a dobi, but it can't handle even a single pair of denim shorts or pants, so keep that in mind. Good for shirts, undergarmets, and socks, though.

This is a great little washer for small items. Socks, underwear, thin workout clothes, hand towels, etc. The spinner does make a whirring noise, but for the convenience of this allows me I have no problem with that at all!

This machine is awesome. I mainly bought it for my weekend travels to wash small clothing items: tanktops, t-shirts, socks. I've been using it at home to wash hand towels and they come out clean. I will be bringing this machine when I go camping in the summer.

I love how simple the mini washer is to work an wash the small articles of clothes, and not lose them with larger wash machines. I didn't get the type with the spinner attachment, so you do have to wring out your own clothes, but that's minimal time in this process.
