  • Very quiet, Fits a full load, dries great, easy to use, not heavy , takes a long time to dry though
Size: 1.5 Cu.ft
I’m very happy with this, it was simple as just connecting the vent and putting it out the opening of the window above, and plugging it in...pretty fast and easy nothing to have to screw together etc. ready to go. Pretty easy knob too, just put it to the red area for heavy items or larger loads and let it go until it’s done! It dries thoroughly even when I have jeans, work pants, etc mixed in, the only thing is that it takes a solid 200 minutes to do a full load completely dry...but I don’t mind I just set it and go do whatever I need to do. It’s surprisingly quiet and it fits on top of my 4 cube storage thing! So instead of taking up more space outward I used space upwards which is important when you have a very small apartment. As you can see from my photo I also use the panda washer, highly recommend that too. I recommend putting the dryer on top of something sturdy or doing the walk set up or getting the set that you can set it up on the wall above your washer...if you don’t have a storage thing like me...the reason I say this is that it is all the way to the ground which hurts your back constantly bending alllll the way to the floor to put clothes in and out...since I put mine in my storage thing, it’s absolutely perfect! Easy to clean out filter too! I’m very happy with this, no more $20 a week at the laundromat for me! Keep in mind I have a family of 4 (2 messy little kids and a husband with a full work outfit everyday plus bedding etc) and it works great for me by doing 1 load each morning (or evening) . It’ll work for anyone, even fits 4 flat sheets and 4 pillow cases easy ...I can even wash a queen throw blanket....not going to work with comforter if you use those ... show more

  • Great Product For a Variety Of Setups
Size: 3.5 Cu.ft
(I have had this product for a total of two weeks as of writing) Well, the dryer has done everything that I throw at it. From small blankets, to small laundry loads, to a few jeans, it does everything well. Although it does have a good amount of drying power, you should not overload it. Some other tips I'd like to give are to keep the filter clean after each use, cut down large loads into smaller ones and make sure there is enough space for the clothes to be tossed around and for air to flow, make sure that it's getting proper electricity that meets its rating, make sure it is vented properly. Overall, I am very impressed with the product and it does seem worth the money to me, as I value my time a lot and do not want to go to the laundromat for everything. If you want a small appliance that exceeds its job, go for this one. ... show more

  • Small Load Wonder
Size: 1.5 Cu.ft
I just started using this yesterday. I have a Midea portable washing machine 1.6 cu.ft.Top Loading Washing and the way I've figured it is that half loads in that machine will be the maximum amount that this dryer can accommodate. I was able to find a 3" to 4" converter to connect the indoor vent and hook up was quick and easy. I have found that it is more time efficient to turn the dial to the red area between 120 to 200 minutes as it does seem to be hotter in that range vs the lower orange/yellow time ranges. Plus, I don't have to deal with the built in cool down time in the lower time range. If I want to run a 1 hour cycle, I just set the dial to 180 minutes and stop it at 120 minutes so it will be hot the whole time. The following sized loads took an hour each to dry: 1) 4 sweatshirts (mens medium/large), 2) about 12 washcloths/dishrags, 6 pairs of cotton socks, 4 pairs of flannel boxer shorts and 2 tee shirts, 3) 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 6 dishrags/washcloths. Right now I am drying a smaller load of 3 thermal tops with a tee shirt. They came out bone dry after an hour. In case you are wondering about sheets (the main reason I got this machine), a single queen size sheet will fit. I try to not fill the drum more than about half full to allow for efficient tumbling and drying. I could stuff the other sheet in but it wouldn't dry very well. BTW, I run 2 spin cycles after each load to extract more water from the clothes. I have this on top of my refrigerator and it fits perfectly. The room it is in is a combo living/dining/kitchen/office multipurpose room. It did get a little bit warm when running this when the oven was on but otherwise it doesn't seem to heat up the room too much. Humidity went from 30 to 50% which is fine in the wintertime. In the warmer months I plan to vent it out the window. If you don't mind doing smaller loads more often and are limited on space this could be what you are looking for if you want to skip the laundromat. Update: this is my third week of using the dryer and I'm getting the hang of optimal load size and what temp range and time to use. Biggest challenges so far are: pants (at least corduroy) come out wrinkled (even when dried alone), only 1 queen size sheet fits so it takes 2-3 hours to dry the whole set. When I get the load/temp and time just right the clothes come out beautifully. My goal is to dry the loads in an hour. This is a pretty amazing little thing. You just have to be willing to accept the size limitation but I am working around it. I find it's actually easier and faster to keep up with my laundry by doing smaller loads more often. If you want a dryer but are very space (and outlet) challenged I recommend seriously considering this product. Of course, this is really best suited for a single person, perhaps a couple without children. Update 3/8/15: I've been using the dryer for 2 months and have come to love it. I have figured out the right size load/temp settings to dry the loads within an hour (I do two extra spin cycles on my portable washer to reduce drying time). I typically do several small loads a week but I've been sick and let it pile up. No problem! By the time the first load dries, the second load of wash is ready to go in the dryer. Before the dryer I was doing wash all day long on one of the weekend days but no more. I'll get through the 4 loads I have today in a few hours. Pants are still problematic as they come out too wrinkled (I hate ironing) but I spray them with wrinkle releaser and they come out looking pretty good. Sheets still take several hours as you can only do 1 queen sheet at a time but it so so worth it to not have to trudge out in the snow and sub freezing temps to go to the laundromat just to dry a few things.. The best part is I really haven't noticed an increase in my electric bill! People have complained about cleaning the lint filter. I always clean the lint filter after every load in any dryer I've had. This one needs an extra step or two but it's no biggie. I know cleaning the lint filter helps it dry more efficiently and that's what I am after. I have included front and side views (side view with indoor vent kit attached), the lint filter and an example of a load that I dried in an hour. Update 11/24/16: A little before the 1 year warranty was up the dryer started making a scraping noise. Eventually I notice a white piece of felt protruding from the drum. I contacted the company after the warranty was up (my fault) and was told it was the felt that cushions the dryer drum. In all honesty, my interactions with the company were very pleasant. The problem is that it could take as long as 2 months to get the felt from them at 18.00 or buy another drum with the felt for 60.00. Just wanted to let people know that there could be some issues if you need a replacement part. I know this makes me hesitant to purchase from them again despite their helpful service. ... show more

  • small dryer, slow to dry, quiet, portable. Ideally wall mounted. Smaller than it looks in pictures.
Size: 1.5 Cu.ft
This electric clothes dryer is a small, nice performer. It is ideally suited for wall mounting and comes with the brackets. The plastic tubing for the exhaust is not compatible with modern clothes dryer vents, but it comes with an adapter. You must use part of the factory supplied tubing. The vent lint catcher is inside the drum in the back wall in the center. You insert a finger and tug it off then wipe clean and press back in place. It comes with a screen and dust filter too. The filter can be washer and re-used but I am not sure how many times it would survive that. It runs off 117vac, standard US house current, probably drawn a load similar to a counter top toaster. It heats up slowly due to not being 220vac. Drying time is longer than a full size 220v dryer, maybe double. It runs quietly and smoothly. Simple to operate, drying by room air or electric heat. The drum is wide but not very deep (front to back). So far I have had no issues or complaints other than being slow. Here in the desert you can almost dry clothes slowly with just room air since our humidity is so low, but in the midwest this dryer may be painfully slow unless you keep the load size small. ... show more
