I’ve had this for about 6 months now! Such a convenient apparatus for my elderly parents & when you’re short on time to go to the laundry room!! Like a lot of reviews and images I had to modify the connections to this machine as majority of the screw points are plastic. The on and off started to wear the plastic. I have the shower setup. Got a metal spout to connect to water inlet, a thicker hose to handle the water pressure, and a 3-way. It’s a good investment and I’m happy with it! Pros: - not too heavy - excellent clean of clothes - compact - not too noisy - multiple wash options that work very well - easy to clean & sturdy - can do heavy loads (blankets, jeans, jackets, etc…) very well! - no odor left behind Cons: - poor quality pieces - outer rubber coming undone - leaves some residual water - spin cycle partially dries clothes so I just hang dry - water inlet wearing off too - wear and tear of lint collecting rubber

AMAZING! And I do not use that word lightly. I had to buy this in a panic when my portable washing machine gave out. I was two weeks deep in laundry in my apartment, which included the two wet loads. No time for a laundry mat run. I ordered this on a Sunday and it was at my door by Wednesday. I ran it all weekend to catch up on the back log and this little baby was like a hot knife through soft butter; ran like a dream! It got my clothes cleaner and brighter than my other machine that was twice its size and weight. No leaking faucet, so there is no water waste. I would caution folks to make sure that the waste water hose is secured so it doesn't fly out of the sink–I learned that the hard way! I just took some old hand weights to help keep it in place, as I have to move it every week to hook up in my kitchen rather than having it permanently installed. I strongly recommend the four-wheel dolly to be able to move it around with ease, though it is also so so light (about 50 lbs). I was a skeptic but now can not say enough about this machine. So glad that I did not try and get another larger unit. This little baby takes all that I can throw at her. Bathsheets and bed sheets included. Got them cleaner and more lint extraction than when I had these items done by the professional dry cleaners laundry drop off. Also, the power of the spin cycle means that my air-dryed laundry is dry in a day–A DAY folks! I have to air dry everything, towels included. I truly can not say enough about this investment. Don't let the affordability fool you. This little beauty earned her keep after the first weekend. The cycles are also really fast without skimping on cleaning. I also like that the top is see through so that I can assess if I need more soap or not. I will say that you need to do your laundry based on pounds rather thank items. The max is marked at eight pounds but again, don't let that low number fool you; it's more than it seems. Finally, it runs really quiet. My last machine was loud and had a very dramatic spin cycle. This little baby is quiet and gets the job done with no fuss. Because it is a drum there is more room to get more laundry in. The directions recommend putting small things like little socks and handkerchiefs in laundry bags. When the drum drops down, it would be easy for these small items to get spun out, so do make sure small items are secured. I hope this can help others with investing their hard earned money as well. It was and continues to be a life saver for me, and at a price point I can afford. Don't let the plastic encasing and hoses fool you. They are tougher than they appear. May your laundry needs be met by this machine and your stress be eased, just like mine was and continues to be.

My husband and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in a small city and the only major thing that we don't love about living in this building is having to go downstairs to do our laundry. It's not only inconvenient, but also one of the washers (semi new) caught on fire twice recently - so that is kind of scary. We were looking into other apartment buildings where they have with W/D in unit and they are a lot more than we pay now. We like where we live it's just that the laundry situation is not ideal. We were looking into other options and found this washer. It sounds corny, but it has really changed our lives. It's compact and it washes the clothes well and spins them so there is barely any water in them at the end of the cycle. We put a small mat underneath of it to help with the sound although it's not really that loud and it doesn't run for a long time anyway. The instructions are terrible (definitely translated), but you can get the gist. I did email customer service because there was a delay on our shipment (tracking # was not updated) and they got back to me within 24 hours. Overall we are very happy with our purchase! I also HATE doing laundry and this actually makes it not so bad. I want to start out by saying that I believe that this washing machine is amazing; however, I believe that I did receive a defective machine. Since first receiving it, the set up was relatively easy - I say that b/c although setting it up did not take much work at all (which was awesome!) I did have to buy extra parts to allow it to fit to my sink, like most other reviewers have stated. I also bought a longer hose, b/c the hose it comes with is not only short, but the plastic begins to strip after a few uses of having to screw and unscrew. I purchased a rolling cart to place the machine on for easy maneuverability and to try to reduce the noise to my neighbors. Like other reviewers stated the machine is louder than expected from a smaller/portable machine. It does sound like a regular sized washer. However, the machine washes the clothes so well - like a regular sized machine - huge plus! The spin cycle is also very good - clothes come out damp - no dripping! The drain hose also does not stay in place with the hook it comes with. I had to purchase a bungee cord and wrap it around the hook, and hook the bungee cord hooks to the on/off sink knobs, then I have to tie a rubber band around the bottom of the hose hook to prevent the hose from slipping out the hose hook. My Queen size comforter does not fit in this machine and I still have to go out to wash the comforter separately, but it is a portable sized machine, so I expected this. Overall, the machine helped so much and I loved it. Once figuring out all the extra parts you have to buy and the little alterations you have to make while washing, the machine is worth having in my opinion. My machine did make unusual sounds from the first use; however, it was washing the clothes well so I didn't think it was serious enough to contact customer service. A few days ago, while using the machine, I was around the apartment cleaning and when I came back into my kitchen it was flooded. I ran over to the machine and noticed that the water kept running into the machine and it had been overflowing. It was such a headache to have to pour the water out of the machine with a bowl to empty it out. My kitchen floors are ruined - it took forever to get the water drained and dry the floors. I contacted customer support and they responded to me within a day. Along with a list of things to check for, they offered me a full refund. I was so grateful to them for not making it difficult to contact them or resolving issues with them. I give their customer support 5 Stars. This is a great way to keep customers coming back. I would buy this machine again, but be sure to contact customer support sooner if I notice any unusual sounds. For the price, the machine is worth having.

EDIT: Updated with photos! Still loving this machine as of 7/13/20. Just a week ago I was where you are now: Wondering if this is the washer machine you need. I'm excited to say that this ~was~ the right one for me and I'm extremely happy with it thus far. I bought this machine because I live in NYC and I don't want to go risk going to the laundromat or doing my usual pickup service in the midst of the pandemic. This machine allows me to do laundry quickly and efficiently at home. I've done about 10 loads of wash so I now feel that a) I'm an unofficial expert and b) this machine is worth recommending. A few things to note: - It's smaller than your average machine, but not "small" or compact (I had planned to attach photos but that feature appears to be missing). It does what I would consider 3/4 of a regular load of laundry when comparing it to a standard size home machine (or less if you have bulky items) or 1/2 a load if you're used to using a large machine. I washed several pairs of jeans and a small rug in it today with no issues. - The instructions are poorly translated but you don't really need them. Just attach the bottom plate, plug in, attach to faucet (once we unscrewed the filter from the tap the provided hose attached to our kitchen faucet easily -- not the case with our bathroom sink despite trying about 10 different adapters -- alas, we'll do laundry in the kitchen), power on, choose your program and then choose your water level (in that order). Add detergent and clothing while it's filling. The rest is automatic. - A pump adds water via faucet and a separate hose drains the water into the sink/tub. You can leave your faucet on and the machine will accept new water when it needs it, however, we do not do this because I'm worried about impacting our neighbors' water (we live in an old apartment building). The machine pauses when it needs more water and you'll be able to turn it on manually. The screen will show that it's rinsing (or whatever) and if it's paused, you'll know to turn on the faucet. After a couple of times, I have memorized the sounds this machine makes so I know when to turn it on. Like I said, I'm an unofficial pro now. ;) This happens 2-3 times. It's not as complex as it seems, and if you wanted to you could just leave the faucet on. - Laundry comes out barely damp due to the efficient spin cycle! This is the most impressive thing for me as I'm hanging laundry to dry and don't have a dryer. Spin cycle will not run if the top is open. - The pump system is very efficient but you may have some drips when you remove the hose and pack the machine away between cycles (if you plan to do that) so have a towel on hand. - Noise level is relatively low. I imagine neighbors might hear the faint churning of the machine during the wash cycle and the final spin cycle, but I am incredibly pleased with how quiet the machine is overall. I purchased this dolly to sit the machine on top of, and I think having it off the ground helps with the noise level as well. Apart from that, having it on wheels is immensely helpful. The Fedex driver decided to haul the entire box over our 4' fence and let it fall sideways onto the concrete (I may need to go to therapy to forget the metallic clang it made when I heard it fall outside, but that's a story for another day). I hope this helps you decide whether the machine is right for you! It has been a major game changer in light of this entire pandemic and the restrictions being put on daily life. This is a great little washer. Like most people on the market for this style washing machine, I recently relocated into a small efficiency apartment and was looking at more convenient options than sharing washers and driers with everyone else living in this complex. First off, I was curious about how dry this machine got clothing on its own and if I would need a drier or not. The standard spin cycle at the end of the washes gets your laundry dry enough for a clothes line. However, it has an “air dry” mode that works really well after washing a load. It doesn’t blow air or anything, but it’s an hour long program of doing spin cycle off and on. My experience, this gets most fabrics dry enough that you can toss them on a hanger and within a couple hours of hanging up they’re ready to be folded and put away. In terms of the size of the load, I can fit 3 days of work clothes in it with no issues. Could probably squeeze more in, but I believe it would be cramming a bit too much to expect it to wash them well and dry them good enough to hang up. As others have mentioned, it does come with a pvc hose with plastic femal 3/4” connectors on each end. I didn’t think it would be an issue, but eventually the static pressure of being attached to the water line caused the plastic threads to strip out and push off the nozzle a bit, soaking my floor and coming home to a nice lawn sprinkler in my apartment after work. I do recommend purchasing a better hose with metallic hookups, be mindful the hookup on the machine itself is plastic so you don’t want to be taking metal off and on too much or you might wear it out or damage it if you cross thread it. My finally recommendation, you are going to need an adapter to hookup the 3/4” to a standard faucet. If you don’t want to be screwing and unscrewing the hose each time you wash, I recommend getting a diverter valve and the appropriate adapter for it (most valves divert to 1/2” G threading, what a lot of handheld shower heads and spray nozzles use). There’s a second advantage to using a diverter aside from being able to use your sink normally with the flip of a valve you are also able to relief pressure built up in the hose if you just switch that valve over to the faucet with the water turned off to clear the pipes of their pressure, then, then back to your hose. That may have saved me with the provided plastic hose springing a leak from pressure. Here are some links you may want to consider picking up with this machine. If anything goes wrong, the seller will 100% ghost you. The manufacturer has no direct internet presence. They are only here on Amazon and one or two other big box company websites that they sell through. They have no manufacturer website, no contact information anywhere, and when you reach out to them through Amazon they will not respond if you have an issue with your purchase. I really wanted to like this machine. In fact, I loved it ... for the 6 months that it worked. Despite having to buy an additional hose to reach my sink, and an adaptor to fit my sink (as others have mentioned), once I got this little guy up and running, it was wonderful. I was so happy! Laundry was no longer a giant pain in the you know what. It was perfect. Until it wasn't. After 6 months of perfect use, this machine just stopped working. Water still flows in and out, but the spin/agitate function stopped all together. Zero movement. I did my internet research — it wasn't the "lid open" indicator being tripped (#1 common reason spinning stops working), it wasn't a problem with the belt, the motor — none of the common issues when a machine stops agitating/spinning. When one purchases such a large, pricey item, one expects it to work for more than 6 months. Or at the very least, it should come with a warranty. Nope! When I started this process the seller page originally stated to contact them for warranty information. (That phrasing has since been removed and replaced with, "contact Giantex to get information about any additional policies that may apply.") So I reached out to the seller. Nothing. I contacted Amazon, they reached out to the seller. Nothing. Amazon sent some special message that's supposed to mean they MUST contact within two weeks — nothing. They reported the seller, "that usually gets them to respond." Noth-ing. 6 messages were sent to them between Amazon and myself over the course of 3 1/2 months. One long internet help chate, four lengthy phone calls, supervisors — the works. Amazon was very helpful, but this seller does not exist. At least, they don't exist once they've got your money. And, if you think that by some miracle you will get a response from Giantex if there's an issue, just take a look at their return policy before you purchase. 30 day policy — not very helpful for an appliance. (A shirt, or a book? Sure, a 30-day policy makes sense. But an appliance? 30-days doesn't cut it.) And then take a look at the fees they will charge you for returning it. Original shipping cost fee... Return shipping cost fee... 15% restocking fee... And if it's not in the original box they won't accept it ... yeah, ok. The cost of shipping this back, to receive a replacement or refund, IF the seller actually responds, IF you still have the original packaging (which is not even a full box, btw. It's 5 sides of cardboard with a styrofoam platform held together by what are essentially two industrial-strength zip ties... It's a hot mess.) — At any rate, returning or exchanging will cost nearly as much as your original purchase. They Just do yourself a favor, and don't take the risk. Not unless you can be happy a gamble of maybe getting 6 months of use out of your purchase. ___ I will note that through this entire process of trying to contact Giantex, the reps on the phone at Amazon were all very nice and appeared to do everything they could to help. Once I got smart and started asking before I hung up the phone, what action I should take next IF they failed to respond to each message within the window, the process became a lot less frustrating. Still frustrating! But less so. I still spent hours on the phone, hours trying to find this manufacturer's contact information, information on how to fix it myself, calls to see about repair options ... but I appreciate Amazon's continued efforts and courteous customer service. Amazingly, thankfully, after all of that effort, Amazon was kind enough to refund my purchase — even though they did not sell or distribute this product.

People (especially my fellow small apartment, shared laundry facility using peeps): this machine is a game changer! At the start of the pandemic, navigating the shared NYC laundry room as a single parent with my 4 year old at my side was panic inducing. Yes, we have “gotten used to it” but anything that can minimize my exposure to mass germs in a big building AND allow me some autonomy in terms of WHEN I can wash things is - in a word - awesome. Anyone who has daydreams that working from home meant “great! I can run down between meetings and do my laundry during the week...” No. No you can’t. Because back to back Zoom meetings from 8:30am to 7pm and virtual school in the middle means that you and your kid(s) or pets- if you have ‘em will probably never eat or clean up after whatever snack you managed to cram into your face during the day let alone do LAUNDRY. Enter this machine. The biggest hurdle is getting the parts right - so I combed all reviews before purchasing the machine because I meant business in ensuring this thing was useful out of the box. 1. The box doesn’t really advertise what it is. Huge plus in public apartment living 2. It’s not small, folks. Although it mainly ooks big because my apartment is micro. I measured using the dimensions listed on Amazon but still didn’t have the proper visual. This is OK for me since I tuck it away in the closet when not in use anyway. 2. Mostly ignore the nightmare instruction manual—the awesome Amazon customer reviewers have kindly shared this functional directions. Although please glance at them for a much needed laugh during tough times. “Anti-rat” still has me in stitches weeks later. Basically, remove from box, throw the extra materials away (even the semi-useful appearing chunk of plastic). Keep the “anti-rat” screen, and screw in with the provided screws. I bought a metal hose but probably could’ve been OK with the plastic one it comes with. I like to add my soap first and then gently pile in my stuff as it goes as I’m still working out the optimal amount of detergent to use. I find the load comparable to a normal laundry room machine and the spin dry is excellent. I find I now do laundry more frequently AND can actually do it between work meetings. I mean, I still do towels in the laundry room, because...drying time. This will change your life, seriously. One last word of wisdom, get an extra drying rack. You may still have crackers or grapes for lunch but at least now you have part of your weekend back and can make up for lost calories and Zoom-fried brain cells then. Happy washing!
