All I can say is WOW! I like to think that I am a good housekeeper and keep things clean for being my age, working full time and having 2 men in the house. I keep my washer and dryer spotless, but I could not help but take a second look at this item when I happened across it on Amazon, I do not even know how I saw it, but it appeared. I read reviews upon reviews and looked at pictures. I was astounded at the amount of lint people were pulling from their dryers! I knew I needed this. Backed up lint can be a fire hazard and for less than $10 for something simple that does the trick, you cannot go wrong. Anyhow, I stick my hand down in the lint screen area all the time to pull out loose lint that I can reach, but you cannot get to all of it. So, I ordered one just to see. I put it together last night. That was no chore at all, assembly took maybe a minute and probably not that long. It is super easy, a super simple gadget that does what could save lives! This morning, I attached it to my vacuum, cleaned the lint screen with it as it said to just to see.............yep, it pulled lint from the screen that I could not clean. Oh and mind you, my dryer is a super nice Samsung, only about a year and a half old. Then, I took this simple gadget to do the real test......could it really pull a large amount of lint out of that "restricted area"? Did I really have that much lint build up??? Yep, I surely did. Look at these pics! And they do NOT show the amount of lint that was sucked clear up to the top near the handle. It encompassed the filter. I did not even have to use the brush yet. $10. Actually less than $10. If you have a dryer, if you have a home and want to save yourself from what very could well be a big time fire hazard, invest in this. For as simple as it is, it could be a life saver. I am so glad that I purchased one. And for all of the people talking about the loud "whistling" or "squealing" noises, I am pretty sure that comes from a leaking of vacuum because they did not tighten the connections like they should be when assembling or attaching to their vacuum. I did not have that problem. Again, you cannot go wrong with this. Everyone with a dryer should have one.

This is an excellent tool. Feel so much better about my dryer now. Some blockage past the vent and could not get the vacuum to pick it up. However, used the brush to break it up and the flexible vacuum attachment sucked it right out. A little tough to get the attachment on my vacuum the first time, but so worth the effort. I always empty my lint filter after each dryer load, but I’m seeing very little lint now and nothing hanging onto the bottom of the filter when I pull it out. Planning to do a deep clean every month. FYI, if you use your good house vacuum to do the first cleaning and you have a significant amount of lint in your dust bin, you’ll likely need to clean the filters in your vacuum, too. Otherwise you may just trade one problem for another.

I am very pleased with this dryer vent cleaning set. The tube is flexible and fit into my narrow opening inside my dryer. The end that connects onto the sweeper attachment fit snuggly without issue. My only issue is with the brush. It is soft compared to others that I own, but the bristles were falling off the brush before it even left the box. I am a little concerned that too many will fall into my dryer vent causing and issue, so I will not be using it. The blue flexible hose alone was worth buying the set.

You WANT to BUY this NOW! So glad I purchased this as it is quite useful. Simple to use, and my goodness does it reach to those places that you didn't know needed the attention. Just think of what is lingering in your dryer vent? This will suck it right out and prevent any potential fire from even starting. The vac attachment is helpful for those hard to reach spots even in the kitchen around or under the refrigerator or dishwasher area. Do you have pet hair that you "think" is not a problem area in your dryer or "those certain places"... well this brush is substantial, flexible as it will adjust to your needs, well made & you can't beat the price. Again... you'll be glad you have it.

I have to say I was very optimistic about how well this would really work. I am very surprised that it worked so well. I've tried other lint brushes before & they just didn't seem to work that great. Don't know if it was because they were too bulky or to long which makes it very hard to use in such a small tight space. But the brush that comes with this is perfect. It helped loosen up all the lint that's inside with no issues. The attachment work great. The hose attached perfectly to my 8 yr old Dyson vacuum hose & were very easy to attach the rest of them with no issues. Fits perfect in the lint trap section & was even able to get it some what into the hole down at the bottom that continues into the dryer. I'm so impressed that I'm going to buy another one for a family member.

The attachment fit on my shark vacuum no problem however, the tubing repeatedly got clogged with lint. The brush worked great. I ended up just using the brush to break up the lint and then used my vacuum attachment instead.

I love this thing! Who knew? And I got it for less than $10 - worth every penny plus more. I have had this in my shopping list for months and months. It went on sale so I decided to order it, not expecting much. And really, when you open the package, it doesn't look like much, just some rubber or plastic looking parts and a big long brush. I thought, meh, I'm underwhelmed. But boy does it do the job! I was impressed. The brush, I am not sure about as much - it does loosen things but dust becomes stuck to the bristles and is difficult to clean and it just now occurs to me that I could have vacuumed it! ha! But the vacuum part is awesome. I attached it to the tube of my old upright vacuum that has a lot of power behind it - easy to do. First you attach the two (or three) rubber/plastic parts together, and then push the bigger end onto the vacuum tube - give it a little force if you have too, it'll be fine. I stuck it down the vent trap and up came all this fuzz. Now, I clean out my trap every single load of laundry no matter how small: every.single.time. And still this pulled up so much lint! Dang! I then took it outside and suctioned out the outside vent - lots came out of that too. Take a look inside your vacuum and see what has been hanging out in your dryer vent - lots of lint - and for me, lots of lint from many years of never vacuuming it out. Dang! Note that if the suction isn't as powerful to check to be sure there isn't some lint clogging the rubber/plastic tube-it'll clear out easily. Also note that according to how powerful your vacuum is, that will determine of course the power of the suction, but once it is concentrated in that tube, it creates a big suction. I used a power cord vacuum as those are usually more powerful than the rechargeable ones. The amount of lint that came of of that was eye-opening. I had no idea. I found other uses for it - I vacuumed out my old baseboard heating vents that I usually have to clean with a rag and it was always a pain - this fit in there easily and went to town. I also stuck it under my washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove and moved it all around to vacuum up whatever may be under there - dust bunnies or when I drop dog food or nuts or something and it rolls under the fridge. The flat part is flat enough and flexible enough to get under there whereas the vacuum attachment was not. This would vacuum tight areas/corners or baseboards or between furniture cushions. Maybe my wood blinds. I am so pleased with this I only wish I'd ordered it sooner!

I could not figure out how to make the attachment fit my vacuum hose, but I was able to wrap my hand around the joint to allow enough suction. I used my other hand to guide the slim attachment into the lent filter space. It immediately pulled out a giant wad of old lent that was enough to clog my vacuum :) after I cleared the clog, I used the long flexible brush to really loosen up a LOT more lent that initially didn't come out. So then I vacuumed again and pulled out even more loose lent. I was really amazed what was hiding in there and I am very pleased with this product, especially for only $10. Highly recommend. Now I just need to figure out how to make the attachment naturally connect, for the next time I use it. I feel compelled to ask my neighbors if they want to borrow this great tool.
