  • It works
Color: Blue+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29"H
I'm living temporarily in a nice camper. This is light, and doesn't take up much room. It has worked perfectly for me. I usually just take it outside and use the water hose to fill and to rinse. Simple to use, great price, and does the job. Very happy.

  • Great for NY city apartments !
Color: Blue+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29"H
My father love this device! In New York City old apartment , laundry facilities were rarely installed (because the landlord paid the water bill, even though my father lived on the ground floor and had access to the backyard). So, he usually preferred to do his own laundry rather than go to the laundromat. That's why I bought this washing machine. It's very lightweight, making it easy for an older person to move (he plans to keep it indoors in the winter and move it to the backyard in the summer), which I trust. This washing machine can wash a week's worth of clothes (12-pound capacity) and spin-dry (8-pound capacity), and it's not very loud. It also has both inlet and outlet water valves, so my father won't have to wash clothes by hand anymore, which is very convenient. ... show more

  • Small but very impressive
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29.5"H
Smaller than I thought, lighter than I imagined (I'm 5'6 and I can carry this thing myself) and more power than you'd think. It does take quite a bit of time to wash a small basket of clothes. Took me 6 hours, 1 hr per load. You can only wash maybe 3 pairs of jeans (depending on size) at a time. I haven't tried to wash bath towels yet. The spin side is small, only one pair of jeans can fit in it. Towels may be too heavy to spin. But it will spin your clothes pretty dry. Very impressive. On YouTube there are videos of people living in tiny homes and in one, 15 gallons of water was used to wash. I'm not sure what the standard full size washer uses, but 15 gallons seemed like a lot. I live in an apartment, so I don't pay for the water usage only electricity. So I can't say, for now, how much of a money saver this is. I will say, I would get $100 in quarters to use the communal washer/dryer area a month. Hoping this will cost less. I use the washer in my bath tub. Because of the vibration of the spin cycle, I've had to place the washer on a towel to prevent it from sliding in the tub. The washer is fairly quiet when in use, but you can still hear it. You should be able to do a load of laundry without interrupting one's sleep if you needed to. Especially if it's in a bathroom and you can close the door. The draining is souly based on gravity. So make sure the draining tube is low enough to drain the water properly. Once I'm finished, I keep the doors open to allow the unit to dry once it has completely drained. Also, clean the tub floor when you're done doing laundry. It will be very slippery for the next person taking a shower. Let's not fall, shall we? If you have a big and tall enough cabinet, you can possibly fit this thing right in it. I have mine in a bedroom closet. Takes up no more room than one large peice of luggage. ... show more

  • Good little unit - kind of like Goldilocks.
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29.5"H
You can't do too much or too little. IMO - don't over load the washer but you have to have enough to fill the spinner completely or it shakes a LOT and always use the little plastic plate on top of spinner load. Never use too much soap! I see people complained the spinner stopped working and I'm guessing that they may open the lid while it is still spinning too often. When you open the lid it slams to a stop and that must be hard on it. I first tried it on a raised rolling cart (roughly the height of the tub wall) but it took up so much space, now I just lift it in and out of the tub and store it in another room. I can lift it, I doubt a little old lady could. I put down one of those rubber door mats with the cut out designs in the tub and that seems to stabilize it pretty well. I didn't bother with the filling tubes and connecting it to the sink, I just use the shower head to fill it and that works fine. I did find out it has an overflow mechanism so that's a plus IF you have it in an area where it can drain like the tub. You can fill the washer (ie close the drain) while it spins and the spinner still drains. So I put in the wash, a little soap, run it, rinse the clothes as I put them in the spinner, run the spin (as I refill the wash) then back in the wash for a rinse. Then spin again. That spinner is powerful it takes no time at all to dry them. The clothes are coming out clean and so far I'm very happy with the unit. It takes more interaction than a regular washer of course but hey anything is better than the laundry mat. I personally wouldn't put blankets in this machine, I think they're too heavy so I still have a regular washer (on it's last leg) that I do blankets in. I'm hoping I can put off buying a new regular machine by doing the majority in this little unit. If I had a baby with poopy clothes this thing would be GREAT to use as pre - wash poopy stuff only in. OK long winded I know. You all have a nice day! ... show more
