  • lightweight, sturdy, energy savings
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29.5"h
i am a brand new first time homeowner, closed on my house in January and was immediately overwhelmed by all the stuff i needed to learn about. i thought it would be easy to buy a washer and dryer - i remember my parents bought theirs at Sears, walked in, told the floor sales person what they wanted, and that was it. that was the first and only time they needed to replace their washer and dryer during my childhood. things are much different now. there’s no Sears or any place i can think of that still employs a sales staff to help with appliance purchases. there are multitudes more options on the market and none are built to last. i did not feel ready to deal with all that so i decided to try out a portable washing machine in the meantime. so i’ve been using this for all my laundry since January. i didn’t bother trying to figure out how to hook it up to the faucet. i just lug it out to my front porch whenever i do laundry and fill it with buckets of water i lug from inside the house or from the outdoor spigot. i point the drain hose to empty off the side of my porch’s raised concrete slab. doing it this way does mean that i have to be mindful of the type of detergent i use since the runoff empties into a ditch that flows into local waterways (that are already in pretty poor condition). since i’ve already been using dirty labs detergent and laundry booster for a number of years, i checked some resources from my county and it turns out that this detergent is fine to drain outside in limited amounts that come from light household laundry. so that brings me to the biggest upside to using a portable washer - it uses a lot less water and power than the major appliance versions. for people who live in areas with highly regulated or subsidized utilities, it might not make a huge impact on the monthly power/water bills, but in states where utility bills can and do shoot sky high at the drop of a hat - you’ll see significant savings compared to using a regular washer and dryer. the machine functions very well. it agitates well enough to remove light soil, but it’s important to use as little detergent as possible so you don’t have to run one load through more than two water changes to rinse. the spin drum is amazing, but has significantly less capacity than the washer. a twin size plush blanket will fit fine in the washer but you will not be able to spin it. towels spin fine. queen size sheets spin fine as well. most items will air dry within an hour or two if they are hung on a rack in a well ventilated space or outdoors. some reviewers mention the spinner breaking right away - that can be avoided by not walking away from it immediately after turning it on. even if what you put in the spin drum feels well balanced, you really won’t know until the thing revs up to top speed. and you do need to hold it down as it first starts accelerating or your machine might go for a walk. during that very brief start up, there may suddenly be banging, knocking, even shaking that seems a bit over the top compared to what you actually have in that drum lol - but the lighter the load, the less it takes to throw it off balance, so you’ll need to shut it off and rearrange the items in the drum before starting again. there is a plastic disk that is to be placed over the top of the load inside the drum, then there’s an inner lid that snaps shut (make sure you hear the snap) and then there’s the top lid - paying attention to what you’re doing will prevent that spinner from busting. so yeah - most people aren’t looking to a machine like this for all household laundry but it can definitely save you a trip to the laundromat. and for camping - if you’ve got a water and power source, this will work great. and it’s pretty lightweight. i can barely open a jar of pickles but i can carry this thing from the back room of my house to the front porch. ... show more

  • Lovin' It!!
Color: Blue+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29.5"h
I waited several months before writing a review, as I really wanted to see if it held up that long. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I still need to walk the two blocks to wash large, heavy items like comforters, blankets, etc. at the laundromat, but for everyday items this machine has worked like a charm. Yeah, it takes more time, but it costs way less (I live in an apartment building, so I'm not getting a water bill). I can do one load of: a pair of jeans, 3-4 t-shirts, and several pairs of socks & underwear. Now, like most reviews here have stated, the water hose doesn't fit any connection in my place. Not a deal-breaker. I place the washer in my bathtub, and fill it manually with a bucket. I do one wash cycle, drain, wash again, drain, rinse, drain, rinse one last time. So, if I'm feeling particularly motivated, I'll do maybe two loads in a day. Remember: I'm in a New York City apartment, so having enough room to hang things to dry means I really can't do more than that in a day. I set wash time to maximum (about 15 minutes), and two cycles is sufficient. Which brings me to the spinner/dryer portion of washing. The compartment won't accommodate everything you've just washed. Maybe one-third at a time, but it also works on weight. You want to fill the compartment, but not over-stuff it. A bit of trial-and-error, but you'll figure it out fast enough. It practically dries everything after one spin, but you'll need to hang them. Oh, and now the drainage section: I don't, as some say they've needed to, have to raise/elevate the washer. It sits flat in the tub, is stationary throughout both wash and dry cycles, and the water drains out just fine. Some have mentioned an odor after unboxing. I did not have that experience. It's a fine looking machine, too, if color and esthetics mean anything to you. Some have mentioned the lint catcher, stating how much of a pain it is to open, clean, and put back in. On this I agree. Again, not a deal-breaker, but, c'mon...this could've been placed in a better area. Those of us with hands bigger than a toddler's are suffering, lol. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product, and feel it was a very good investment. ... show more

  • Hose doesn't attach to sink faucet. Worth the money either way!!!!!
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29"h
Honestly I Dont leave reviews. But this is worth the feedback. BUY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! I was spending $30+ at the laundromat weekly and figured why not give it a shot? My clothes HONESTLY have never come back cleaner. And the spin cycle to dry is Crazy! I run it through twice at 5min and everything is Bone dry. The only downside is that the hose doesn't connect to my sink... unless I'm doing it wrong, but I followed the directions, so I have to hold the hose there, but ITS WORTH IT. ... show more

  • Perfect for Apartment Living Perfect for Apartment Living
Color: Black+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29"H
Honestly, I hesitated at first because I wasn’t sure how well it would work, but after using it, I’m really glad I bought it. Living in an apartment without in-unit laundry is such a hassle, and this makes things so much easier. It’s perfect for everyday clothes like T-shirts, underwear, and workout clothes. It cleans well, and after the spin cycle the clothes aren’t dripping wet — they just need to air dry overnight. The noise level is reasonable and not too loud. Of course, it’s not meant for heavy blankets or thick winter coats, but for one person’s daily laundry, it’s more than enough. Compared to constantly going to the laundromat, it saves both time and money. So far I’m very satisfied. Definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Perfect for baby laundry Perfect for baby laundry
Color: Black+White Size: 15.5"Dx25"Wx29"H
This is perfect for baby clothes. Babies create so much laundry, but I don’t want to run the big washer every day for only a few small items. That’s why I bought this mini washer. It wasn’t too hard to setup to running water, but you can also put water in manually and it works well too. I highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation because it works well for smaller loads of laundry that are more frequent. ... show more

  • Disappointing quality and customer service
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29.5"h
Let me start by stating I was once in love with this washer. Raved about it to all my friends and family until recently. The original washer I purchased worked for a some amount of time and them the spin side started to break. It wouldn't dry my clothes at all and made a horrible hissing noise every time I had to use it. So I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. That replacement arrived and I was able to use it for some time until the washer side COMPLETELY cut up my boyfriends favorite T-shirt. Upset with the washer and now my boyfriend upset with me, I decided to contact the company once again to see what could be done. They were apologetic and sent me a refund and a brand new washer I received about 3 weeks ago. It was working fine until a few days ago. I decided to do a bunch of wash so I filled up the washer with water, detergent and my clothes. Upon turning the knob to turn on the machine I was extremely upset to notice that the wash side on this brand new washer is FUNCTIONLESS! It doesn't spin now! I had to hand ring out the soap and water for my clothes. Needless to say the bathroom was a mess and I had hand wash my clothes because the brand new washer this company sent broke after a few uses. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. It is what I am going to do for now on ! Message to company: I’m very sorry but I think that is very poor service. You sent me a refund, which I’ve used on 2 occasions to purchase 2 brand new washer from your company with the hopes that I would get a washer that actually works and isn’t broken. Also, you mentioned that I should buy a washing machine in my local store. I live in an apartment and can’t purchase my own washer due to living on top of a business that doesn’t allow us to utilize our own washer system. That’s why I stumbled upon your washer with the hopes that it would work for a significant amount of time without having any type of dysfunctions. One “exchanged” washer the spin stopped working and the wash side ripped my boyfriends sentimental T-shirt that he will never be able to replace. The other one you just sent me 3 weeks ago to replace the washer that ripped my boyfriends shirt, the wash side doesn’t even work now? I filled the washer with the water, detergent and clothes to find that the wash side is COMPLETELY functionless. I had to drain and individually squeeze out all the water and detergent from my now drenched clothes and there is nothing you can do ? I’m not asking for a refund, I’m asking for a washer that actually works. Company: " Hello, Thanks for your message. We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience that brings to you. As for the order, we have refunded full money to your original payment account. Have you received it? If you still need a washing machine, you can buy one in your locals. If you have any questions, please contact us freely." ... show more

  • Very Straight Forward Product
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29.5"h
This product is super simple in all the ways about it. Simple color scheme (a neutral grey/white), three control knobs (wash timer, wash selector, and spin timer), two water hookups (which I never used), and one drainage hose. Wash timer is very simple and labeled in minutes. Turn to the time you want, and you're done. If you want to cancel early, simply turn the knob back to 0. Wash selector is simple, three options; Gentle, Normal, and Drain. Gentle cycle turns the pulsator short times and longer pauses between turns. Drain, well that's what drains the Washer side. Note, the spinner side is always in "drain mode" no matter what setting the wash control is in. Speaking of spinner, super simple. Turn to how long you want to spin, most things are two minutes or less. As mentioned, the washer is 12 lbs capacity. I can wash an entire weeks of work clothes in one load; two khaki pants, 5 white t-shirts, and 5 polo shirts. If you do the math, this requires me to split the load into two in order to spin. Which brings me to the spinner, super simple to use. Place the wet clothes in, take the spin cap and press the clothes down firmly, close both lids (there's two) and spin. How I use the machine: I use cold water detergent as it works so much better when using cold water, also saves on heating costs (electric/gas). I place a 5 gallon bucket under the bath faucet and turn on the cold water starting to fill up the bucket. I then place the machine into the tub. First full bucket i pour directly into the washer and then add my soap (very little amount). Start bucket number two. I turn on the washer for two spins (5 seconds or so) to mix and then put in the clothes. Bucket two is normally done (only need about 3 more gallons) and fill until needed. Normally just use setting at three minutes, sweaty/dirty I go to 6. Depending on how many loads I have, I may reuse the water again with just adding a tad bit more soap. Or, I'll drain it and fill it up with fresh water and then reuse the rinse water for the second load. When done rinsing I will then run through the spinner for 2 minutes and to remove the soap i spin for only 30 seconds. I then hang up to dry which is normally done within an hour. Jeans obviously can take a bit longer. Do not recommend large blankets. Sheets are easily done. Quality: It's on the cheaper side, but has held up for almost a month with weekly washes up to 4 loads each week. So signs of it breaking anytime soon. I would defiantly buy this as a gift if you have a family member moving to a small apartment or even a dorm that has a bathroom in the room! Special note: This is gravity drained, so the machine must be higher than where you are draining. So the hose must go down. This is why i put it directly in the bathtub. ... show more

  • Needs some adjustments but it’s a good washer
Color: Grey+White Size: 15.5"dx25"wx29.5"h
I just completed a wash with my new washer,.... CONS first ... I think it’s very important to note that the inlet hose doesn’t work unless it’s basically vertical to the washer which is super bizarre...I wish the plastic was more durable with a wider nozzle to actually fit a normal sink, I had to purchase a universal hose. Which I didn’t plan on needing... CON: The washer also needs to sit on a riser of some sort in an apartment setting to be able to drain properly into a bucket/ or the toilet(& I don’t advise the bathtub setup some people show online because it is so unsafe. ) It is a gravity drain which is stated but I think the 20 inches is way to short for real life function... I also had to purchase an extension tube for this as well. CON: the plug in cord is very short & I needed yet again another extension cord CON : the unit seems to smell almost like it’s over heated within 10 minutes of use (yikes) Now for the Pros... PRO: it’s very lightweight which both me and my spouse like a lot... PRO: it does a good job of cleaning the clothes PRO: it’s great for a tight spaced apartment Overall I’d say that it’s ok I wish it was a little less money for the quality of the washer, most of it is plastic so I’m hoping it lasts us a long time. The tubing could be much better quality and longer. The drain side does however work great..and you use a lot less soap. my advice is to purchase the warranty as I truly don’t see this lasting very long and I was informed the manufacturer warranty is only 90 days vs. the standard year. ... show more
