I bought this for my Mom because her old scooter died and would have cost almost a thousand to fix. I got this and put it together pretty quickly. I let my son Nouglas try it out first because I didn't want to get hurt if it crashed or fell apart.My son is a little slow anyway so better him then me. He liked it at first but I didn't even turn it on yet. When I turned it on he just started playing with the horn and laughing so I told him to use the throttle its a lot more fun than the horn. He did and went flying around all crazy trying to stop it by beeping the horn because I didn't tell him about the brake so he started crying and screaming and the neighbors might have called the cops on me again for treating him"Badly" . Look he is 23 years old and even though he can't really dress him self that good he is an adult and he didn't get hurt that bad anyway just some cuts and maybe broken bones but bones get broken anyway so. So the scooter wasn't damaged that bad and my Mom loves it. ... show more

    • Buyer beware! Deceptive seller.
The product is poorly designed to lift by a handicap person. As a totally disabled senior, my wife & I couldn't even lift it out of the package; there are no strategic handles so it's impossible to lift so it defeats the purpose of being lightweight. Further, lithium battery is not FAA approved so It defeats the purpose of being a mobility device if you can't use it on a plane trip. Product maybe good; however, Company is deceptive in that it omits to inform buyer this important information. Further, item is returnable but you have to pay the shipping so I did $240!! Save your money & look for something that is lightweight & designed to lift/carry easily. ... show more

I purchased this scooter to assist my husband. I was excited that it was foldable as well as lightweight. When the scooter arrived, it was in two boxes. One weighed 71.34 pounds and the other 12 pounds (83.34 lbs). Granted the shipping cost/weight included the cardboard boxes, which I doubt was an additional 19.34 over the 62 pounds including battery listed in the description for the scooter. I had to return it because it was too heavy to handle. Since the scooter wasn't compromised or missing parts, I had to pay the return shipping cost as "customer remorse". Not happy and would not recommend anyone making a purchase for this scooter. Totally misrepresented. ... show more

The product seemed to be perfect for our needs. It was bought as a birthday gift for my husband. He was very happy when he saw it and put it together immediately. He rode it around the house for a couple of minutes and then we read all comments because it seemed to be very fast. He was sitting on it and put it in reverse. At that point it jolted back and he and the scooter fell over backwards. Some bruises, no blood. Decided he could not trust it so back it went. No damage to scooter. Not pleased with cost to return of $271 so buyer beware! Read those comments before purchasing. Lesson learned. ... show more

    • Need directions
I like the looks of the scooter, it goes really fast ( even when you don’t want it to). But, always a but, there are no directions. I have a bag of screws and washers left. It seemed I didn’t need any. I received a front And rear basket but I can’t figure out how to attach them. I’m afraid I will be driving along and a part will fall off. I would like a response from Modest to help me out. They have been wonderful to work with on a request I had. The customer service department is wonderful to work with. They respond quickly to help, and they sent me complete instructions A +++ ... show more
