This product is supposed to fix the issues with Meta Link and the Quest 2 charging at the same time. Unfortunately, every time I tried to connect my Meta Quest 2 through it, Windows 11 (23H2) told me there was a problem with the last USB cable connected. I attempted USB-A 3.1, and USB-A 3.0 ports with no luck. I also tried to connect my cell phone using the cable to rule out my Meta Quest 2 as a problem. I tried with an Anker USB-C charger connected to the power straight USB-C connector, plugging the USB-C into the computer, and leaving the USB-C disconnected. My system is a newer AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D on an ASUS X670 Prime mainboard. Same issue with multiple devices and multiple cables... I wish it worked... but it doesn't.

This is a awesome cable! It's great for keeping my quest 2 and quest 3 charged! It charges it up when it's low on battery and holds it at a decent percentage for a long period of time! I do have some complaints though. The durability specifically. When I first bought the cable it maintained a really sturdy connection and never dropped out of oculus link. It wasn't until I tripped on it slightly one day but luckily it never booted me out of vr, so I continued playing like normal. Then one day I stomped on the cable by accident and it booted me off oculus link. I have a usb-c cable from another brand that I've stomped on before and not once has it broke or booted me off link. This one is more prone to breaking especially the connector that plugs into the computer. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but it only booted me back out again. I tried over and over for a while until I got a somewhat decent connection. Over time though the cable made worse connections and it got so bad to a point where the slightest wrong position booted me off link. I just wish this cable was a bit thicker so it can withstand the force in case it was tripped on or stepped on.

Coupled with a 30w+ 5v charger it holds my Q3 at 100%. Longevity is still to be determined but main what a god send!

This cable started out strong good connection and with a 25watt charger it would actually charge quest 3 while connecting to pc and charger. Problem is, it keeps disconnecting and windows says unknown usb device descriptor failed which causes the connection to be interrupted and charging to stop. I have to keep and eye on it to make sure it's still charging every so often unless I hear the device disconnecting from pc. Great potential but maybe it needs it's own driver idk.

Device not recognized in Windows and will not connect to Quest 3 over any USB3 ports on my PC. Other cables have worked with the same setup. This is clearly a cable problem.

I am so glad that I chose this cord the actual Quest VR cord and so far I am really new @ the VR world thing. So all these new items I am just learning about, so honesty is key here I have no choice...lol, I only have one opinion. I've just received my Quest the other day, but between my son being a gamer and all the video's I've watched I knew this would be one out of most important and convenient things to own. Better than buying a game even. First I want to say that I appreciate the length of this cord, you can still play, sit and be active while all still is plugged in, and as I had said I am really new at this so it took me a few minutes to get used to a 3 or 4 USB outlets to see what belonged where. I had it together soon enough. I like so much the fact that when plugged into the VR set even while playing or etc... IT STILL CHARGES! Yes... you don't find cords that good like that and if you do, then you know how hard they are to find. I have one power bank I bought here from Amazon and I have it for about a year now, and it is AMAZING... I will be purchasing another soon, just to have it's the best one I ever had/have. Getting back to the wire itself, I gave you my example because from my experience of one who goes through wires like water..., I can honestly say it is great. The length= Great The quality/purpose= Outstanding... Fast Charging= WoW!... Positive no over heating not yet anyways, but I am hoping it don't. It was in one of the video's I was watching about rare yet possible things that can happen with your VR set. Just trying to learn as much as I can. Honestly it is a whole new world/dimension is a better term for it. Overall this cord gets the FIVE STARS... it has multiple different outlets for the USB... You can connect them all together in the VR set and it will all connect to eachother and still charge at the same time. PRETTY COOL... and the texture of the wiring is great to very flexible almost like a bungee cord. No spring just nice quality material usedl I hihly recommend this wire, I do feel it is a necessity. For many reasons, and saving the BEST FOR LAST... IT'S ACTUALLY VERY AFFORDABLE! I couldn't believe the price for the quality of this item, your getting a great deal, I didn't pass it up, and it may even be on sale... "not to sure about that", but still check it out... It's totally worth it's value. You can sit watch a movie across the room and still be plugged in. Yes 16ft is long, especially for a cord and one designed like this one. It's so worth it.
