Got it during the Black Friday deal! $70 off to start with. Then you get a $50 Amazon gift card and then you get the Batman game as well. If you have Amazon prime and don’t have the Amazon credit card, get it now during Black Friday and that’s another $250. Total out the door price I got this for $100! It’s great for playing videos, video games, and just playing around with it. If you’re looking to use it for work I would say get the 3. I do notice the clarity isn’t perfect when reading words. Great product. Having a blast. Bought the first VR headset for my youngest son, it was all he wanted for Christmas. Thinking of getting a second one because everyone in the family wants to play with this VR headset and my son barely gets time to play it. Everything works on it so far. We bought a separate charging station for the headset and controllers rather than plug and unplug the items every 2 hours. Helpful hint is that full charging takes approximately 2 hours and that allows you 2 hours of playing time. ... show more

Let me start of when I say that this was what the Quest 2 was building up to be!! They've improved almost every feature that came with this headset. One of these features being hand tracking. The hand tracking on this headset is phenomenal, I'm able to move my hands extremely freely and able to do tons of movements without it losing tracking once!! The passthrough cameras now coming in color is an extreme plus!! Say I'm setting up my headset and it wants me to look at my phone.. I can now use my phone without even having to take it off AT ALL!! With these incredible cameras comes with one of the best features of this new generation of Quest headsets... MIXED REALITY!! It is so awesome to see aliens breaking through your walls, your ceilings, your desk!! Genuinely have never been more immersed. The resolution on this headset is amazing too!! Not once did I see a single thing of screen door effect on my headset. I also tried out the BatMan game that comes with this headset, and I think it is a perfect match to show you what this headset can do! It runs a perfect frame rate and the graphics are so beautiful it reminded me of Half-Life Alyx. i am new to vr 63 years old gamer so i thought i would see what it was about and the price of this made it easy. works great and i am having a blast with it. i love that i could get perscriton lenses to install in it so i do not need to wear my glasses while playing. battery life short but there are ways to increase. highly recommend ... show more

My son (11) saved up to buy this himself and it has been a hit! While I was not a big fan of the idea of him buying a screen he ties to his face, I was pleasantly surprised with the lever of activity this involves and the options it has. We set up for a user with glasses, and am glad that is an option. The ability to change focus is great, because older items similar to this that were tried previously did not have that ability and caused headaches quickly. This does not and can be comfortably played for an hour or more. While not a cheap item, the design is great, and comparing to other game systems is lower than most. Overall, a good value for a non- necessity of this caliber. I give 4 stars because of some technology glitches, mostly software related, and the lack of games. I am sure the game library will continue to grow, but I with there were more variety that is good for preteens to play and enjoy. There are a few free games that are fun, and overall the cost of games is reasonable. ... show more
