I bought this to make chicken jerky for my dogs. It is getting so expensive to by, so I thought I'd make my own. This little machine worked great. The first batch I made was for 8 hours and was crunchy. The dogs liked it anyway. The second batch I did it for 6.5 hours and was excellent. It is very quiet and has a timer and temperature control. The instruction manual is kind of sparse, but lots of recipes online. It has 5 trays and has lots of room for food. Everything cleans up easily and is compact to store. Used to dry fruit.. Worked great. Before to check the measurements. This unit is small compared to other dehydrator. LCD screen shows temp and how much time is left. You control the heat and timer.

Great dehydrator, the digital temp control is awesome, it’s very quiet, compact and perfect for jerky, I can fit 4.5lbs wet meat on this. Easy clean up as well as the crevice of the plastic trays arnt deep or have crazy designs. Add silicone sheets and clean up is a breeze. Great product, may buy 2 more. ... show more

Compared to other dehydrators its not great. There's no clear outline on temps or timing which i thought no problem ill look it up. But the dryer doesn't dry evenly and I felt parts where over heated and hard and some not done at all. Then my dried mango was so hard it popped a new crown out.. so yeah not great. ... show more

Very efficient dehydrator and well made. You can rotate the trays to provide additional space between the trays if needed. The only disappointment was they advertise the ability to add 5 more additional trays so provide double the capacity but they are not available for purchase anywhere that I know of including the manufacturer's website.
