  • No second thoughts, definitely recommend
Size: FX7 Dual Pack
Surprisingly very good value for money. Good sound works great and battery does last a long time as I do multiple short trips I have to rarely charge. Buttons and functions well laid out and work each time. Syncs immediately with my pillions headset and comm is a breeze as well are chatting at will with the unit connected through out our ride The few things that need attention A USB charging port that allows any cable. Currently because it's well within the housing only the provided cable fits. Not a deal breaker but needs to improve. At higher speeds the sound can get choppy (maybe my battery was low) The foam around the speaker could be better. It stuck to the Velcro and ripped when I attempted to remove/adjust Hope the next version has a more compact housing But overall great buy definitely recommend over the overly expensive Sena & Cardo. ... show more

  • Amazing, surprised they don't have 5 star ratings.
Size: FX7 Dual Pack
After looking long and hard for a Bluetooth headset, I luckily came across this brand and decided to buy the FX7. I was looking at all the leaders in the space but didn't want to spend more than $1,000 for 4 units, that what the Cardo and Sena would cost. I researched this brands and saw a ton of great reviews, and most importantly, long term reviews. At the price point, I said "what the heck, they are so much cheaper than the other brands, I'll take a chance." Thankfully I made that decision since these work great! I use them while I'm out in my Honda Talon UTV which is SUPER loud, and they work flawlessly! So far I've been using it with three people seated in the same car, I haven't tried to communicate with other UTVs in the area. I can say, I can easily communicate while walking around my house which is two stories, so they can work in long distances with some interference, and they sound perfect! The volume is great, loud enough inside a terribly loud UTV environment, I can listen to music while speaking with all 3 riders and still hear everything perfectly. Don't expect high fidelity sound coming out of the headphones, but it's good enough. I'm not sure anyone in these environments needs to worry about high fidelity sound because there is too much background noise anyway; it would probably be a waste of money at that point. I also love the dual Bluetooth chip design, it rivals the Cardo top of the line model at a fraction of the cost! I thought I would only need Bluetooth, but after researching about mesh, it was a nice to have and I ended up utilizing both features. Bluetooth connection does sound way better, but if there are 3 or more people, you can still hear music and speak with the other folks, which is really nice. These are water proof, have taken a beating, and still work great. I installed them in 3 different helmets, some made for in ear headphones and others that were not, all installed easily in minutes and worked perfectly. Everything fit and was comfortable even after 3 hours rides in 90 degree heat! The buttons are easy to find, and are intuitive to use... takes a couple of times to be honest to sort it out, but after that it's not problem at all. If you're looking for something that works at a fraction of the cost and don't care about all the marketing hype of brands, this brand is for you! ... show more

  • Good first impressions
Size: FX7 Single Pack
Review for the FX7 since there's hardly any in here for this unit. Got delivered today so I set it up in my helmet (scorpion evo fx) and paired it to my phone. Setup was super easy. Hardest part was running all the wires in the helmet to get a good fit and be happy with it. Now onto the unit itself. Tried the hard boom mic at first and was unable to get it to work (my wife could not hear me on the phone), swapped it for the soft mic that's included and that one worked perfect. Decent sound quality and volume. The knob controls are counter intuitive in my opinion. If you have the unit mounted on the left side of your helmet, you have to rotate the knob backwards (clockwise) to skip to the next song and hold it backwards to raise the volume. Meaning you rotate it forward (counterclockwise) to go back to the previous song and hold it forward to lower the volume. Speakers are noticably tight up against my ears in my helmet but not uncomfortable, at least not on the short ride I took today. Could just be my helmet itself, or the speakers themselves, not sure which is the issue there. Have not tried the comms yet as I rode by myself. Phone call was great on my end and my wife said no complaints on her end either as I was going 50 mph on my Harley. One click to answer and hang up calls so that's nice. Radio works well and picks up stations pretty good. Controlling everything when you're in radio mode is not very user friendly as far as changing stations/setting favorites/scrolling through presets. Will update later down the road once I have more use and hopefully get to try out the comms with my buddies cardo. ... show more
