I don’t write reviews immediately after buying products so having said that I have 2 of these cameras that I have now owned for a year and a half for the first unit and a year for the second. Both were very easy to install with the camera having 2 screws to secure it to the house and the solar panel coming with a swivel mount I made sure the solar panels were installed to get the most sun during the day and so far I haven’t had a charging issue even though I’m in upstate NY where it is cloudy most of the winter. The pictures and video I get are quite clear and if any motion is sensed by the camera I get an alert on my phone. This features sensitivity is adjustable so you can filter out passing cars and things like that. Night vision is good as there are 2 led lights which trigger if the camera comes on at night. There is no fee for the service like my doorbell camera has but the video quality is basically the same. You can also talk to people through the intercom function which I only used once but l had a conversation with my son who was in our driveway when I was in Germany. Hope I don’t jinx myself but after a year and a half with this brand I can say they just work without issues. You do need to purchase a micro sd card to use this camera. ... show more

A buggy mess - save your money!
Color: 1Pcs-Black
I really wanted to like this camera. I thought it checked all my boxes - solar powered, great battery life, wireless internet, local video storage, and PTZ. But in practice, it's a complete buggy mess to use. I couldn't get it to format any SD card I tried - so saving videos locally never worked. You can't customize a time frame when it will record videos, only a time frame that it will alert you of movement. The motion detection settings seem primitive to me. So if there's busy times of the day where there's always motion, you can't tell the camera to avoid recording during those time frames, without also not recording events during the night when you want to save motion recordings. And when you need to quickly check the camera, it often takes up to 30 seconds for the video feed to load. Most of the time I miss seeing whatever it was I wanted to see at the time I opened the app - like making sure a package is delivered in the correct spot. Combine the long video feed load time with an inability to save recordings locally, and the feed constantly freezing while just having the app open, and it's a completely useless product for me. I made sure to install it in a place with strong Wi-Fi. The camera even says ~80% signal strength most of the time. Yet the video feed is overly compressed. And also the field of view seems very narrow to me. I mounted this camera at the highest point of my house to monitor my driveway and I still can't even see the whole width of the driveway without moving the camera around using the laggy, buggy PTZ control interface. If they could just update the app or something to make it better I would like the product. But I wish I just returned it when I still had the chance. Please - save your money and get something from a known brand like Blink or Ring if you're looking for reliability. The only thing I like about this camera is it seems to have good battery life. But maybe because it never actually records anything. Anyway - buyer beware. ... show more

Reliable and Feature-Packed Wireless Solar Security Camera System for Ultimate Protection
Color: 1Pcs-Black
I recently installed the Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor system around my home, and I’m incredibly impressed with its performance. First off, the installation process was straightforward, thanks to clear instructions and easy mounting options. The cameras are completely wireless, which eliminates the hassle of dealing with complicated wiring, making setup a breeze. What stands out the most is the battery-powered feature, combined with the solar charging capability. This system is a true game-changer, as it ensures that the cameras stay powered without needing to constantly replace batteries or worry about running wires to a power source. The solar panels charge the batteries during the day, so they’re ready to go even during cloudy weather. The 360° PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) feature is fantastic for covering a larger area, and I can control the camera’s movements directly from my phone. The motion sensor is highly responsive, and it accurately detects movement, sending notifications to my phone immediately. The color night vision is also a great addition, allowing me to see clear footage even at night, which is crucial for security purposes. Another standout feature is the floodlight, which activates when motion is detected. This adds an extra layer of security, as the sudden burst of light is enough to deter any potential intruders. Plus, the alarm feature is loud and effective, giving an extra level of peace of mind. The camera quality is excellent, with crisp, high-definition video that makes it easy to identify faces or license plates. The app is intuitive and user-friendly, making it simple to view live footage, access recorded videos, and adjust settings. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this security camera system. It offers great value for the price, with reliable features that provide excellent home security. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone looking for an efficient, high-quality, and user-friendly wireless outdoor camera setup. ... show more
