Easy installation and light was even across the cover. I was looking at a different light that uses regular bulbs instead of the LEDs and somebody posted a really good review and it showed that light only came out from the area of the sconces where the bulb was. This one has multiple LEDs to give even light across the sconces covering and also it has three different settings to adjust the type of light warmth that you want. Sold as a pair, the wall sconces look great and are very easy to install. All hardware needed is enclosed so nothing else to buy to have a beautiful on your wall. Just so you know the white diffused 'shade' is plastic, so if you absolutely must have glass look elsewhere. But the plastic is nice looking and will hold up for many years. These are dimmable and the brightness has three settings from a very warm yellow-ish light to a very bright white light. All in all these are a great value! ... show more

So I bought 8 of these for a closed in porch. Finally got them installed after 7 months. These lights are exactly what I was looking for!!! There is a switch on the lamp to instantly change to 1 of 3 color temperatures, NOT THE INTENSITY. Yes the light may look brighter on the 4000K setting because 2 sets of LEDs are turned on. There are actually 2 sets of LEDs. One is 3000K and one is 5000K. Both are turned on for 4000K. 3000K is on the pink side. 4000K is neutral white. 5000K is cold and very blue. I ended up using the 3000K setting because these will be used mostly at night and 3000K is very relaxing and warm. I also bought a dimmer switch and the brightness range is amazing from very dim to really bright. Absolutely love these lights, in fact I am going to buy a couple extras just in case one of these fail when out of warranty. Glad to see they are still available. UPDATE - I bought 2 more of these for backups, just in case. ... show more

This light is generally really good and a great value. Two things I'd mention: 1. It's VERY bright. I can't have it on a dimmer, but I wish I could. If you have a dimmer, this would be fine. We chose the natural light setting vs. the 50/50 or white LED setting because of the brightness. That helps, but it's still really bright, and a bit too bright for the spot we have it in. 2. We mounted it on an overhanging wall above a staircase. That exposed a design flaw - you can see into the light (and the LEDs) from above it. If you are mounting it where anyone might be taller than it or it's at eye level, you should look for a different light as what you see behind the cover is a bit ugly (a flat panel with little rectangle LEDs on it). I might try to make a cover to sit on top to block that out and filter out some of the light. The old sconce we had there didn't suffer from this issue as it was bulb-lit, and they sat just a bit lower in the sconce so you couldn't see them from the upper steps. This one has LEDs right up to the top, so they're visible and look a bit weird/ugly. See the second pic with the area circled to understand what I mean. It's more visible in person than the camera can pick up. But for the cost, it was a good buy, and it works really well – too well, even! Might have to look into finding a way to put a dimmer on the switch and maybe fashion some kind of cover for the top. ... show more
