I ordered this trench coat in black, size medium. It arrived in good condition and was made from 100 percent polyester with a plaid lining. The material felt lightweight but still held its shape. The coat has a lapel collar, button front and long sleeves. The plaid lining shows when the coat moves, and the roll‑up cuffs give it some style without being too much. The stitching looked clean, and the two slant pockets were well placed. The fit was relaxed and came down to just below my knees. It felt windproof enough for fall weather and light spring days. The raglan sleeves gave good movement without feeling tight. The coat was folded for shipping, so it had a few wrinkles, but those came out with a quick steam. This coat can be machine‑washed on a gentle cycle, which makes it easy to care for. It works well for casual wear or for layering over nicer outfits. I ordered this coat in black and a size large. I would say it fits mostly true to size, although it does feel slightly snug when buttoned down at the seat area. Sleeves are a good length. The coat has a satiny lining in a tricolor buffalo plaid. And the lining is all the way through the entire coat. The coat is 100% polyester, which was surprising. I thought there might’ve been some cotton in it since he claimed to have wind resistance. As such, it would probably have good water repellent properties but the coat does not feel like it’s very wind resistant, however. Even lined, it feels very thin. It is also extremely wrinkled. I took it out of its packaging hung it on an hanger for several days, and the wrinkles are not budging. Overall, a nice walking coat for a transitional weather day. ... show more

I’m really impressed with this jacket! It’s super lightweight and comfortable, while still having enough structure that it doesn’t feel flimsy or shapeless. The longer length and classic cut make it look much more expensive than it is, and I love the contrasting check lining, especially when the sleeves are cuffed. One thing to note: it definitely needs to be steamed or ironed before the first wear. These photos were taken straight out of the package for a quick try-on, so you can still see quite a few creases. Once steamed, I think it’ll look even more polished. Such a cute, easy layering piece for spring and fall, and a great affordable alternative if you’ve been eyeing the Sézane Clyde coat! ... show more

This is a versatile coat. I need no other seasonal (spring, summer, autumn) coat except for this. It’s a perfect coat to keep the chill off. The fabric is resilient and resistant to wind. It also repels rain. Not waterproof, because it can get soaked, but a quick cloud burst does nothing noticeable to the fabric. The style is….let me see. Cosmopolitan… Cool ( I know, not a current term), it’s a very classic style, with attitude. And it looks great with jeans, pants and dresses. The length falls just below my knees. I really like the smooth, silky feeling lining. It slides on/off with ease. The lining does not stick to my clothes and I’ve not experienced static. The style is such that the collar will stand up and stay propped. There are 2-deep side pockets. Deep enough for a cellphone, without worries that it will slide out. This is a nice little trench coat. I got the camel one. I love the color. The lining is a plaid with a white ground and brown and black lines. This is such a nice detail since most coats have a boring lining. They do tell you that it is cryo-wrapped, so expect wrinkles. They do come out with a little steam or a quick ironing. I got the medium, and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a medium, sometimes a large depending on the cut. It is truly a classic bellmccain style coat. It can be worn everywhere and not look out of place. The only negative I have is that there isn't a placket down the front of this coat. ... show more
