  • Priced Right. Good enough for daily use for avg. lifter.
Style: Squat Rack Only
Easy to set up. Reasonably stable. Works as advertised. A second set of J-hooks would make switching from squats to benchwork easier.

  • Solid, Versatile Home Gym Rack with a Standout Landmine Attachment
Style: Squat Rack Only
We have used this rack for over a year now, and it has held up very well with regular use. The overall build feels solid and stable, especially for a home gym setup. Once assembled and properly tightened, there is very little movement during lifts, even with heavier weight. One of the best features is the landmine attachment. It gets used constantly for rows, presses, and rotational work, and it feels sturdy and well integrated into the rack. It easily became one of the most-used parts of our setup. The pull-up bar is also solid and comfortable to use, and the band pegs add extra flexibility for resistance band work. I often ended up wrapping bands directly around parts of the frame or the pull-up bar since there are plenty of good anchor points. The rack works well for most upper body and arm exercises, along with squats and other lower body movements when paired with a barbell and plates. The included plate holders are sized for standard plates and do work, but I ended up adding Olympic plate holders for better stability and convenience. That upgrade made the setup feel even more complete. The adjustable arms and safety options are well designed and easy to reposition, making it usable for different exercises and lifters. For the size and price, this rack offers a lot of functionality without taking up too much space. Overall, this has been a reliable and versatile piece of equipment. With a barbell, weights, and some bands, you can get a full body workout without needing much else. The durability over a full year of use makes it easy to recommend for anyone building a home gym. ... show more

  • Great home rack for the price!
Style: Squat Rack Only
Hey, if you're a serious power lifter looking for sturdy, pro quality equipment definitely move on. This rack is not for you. But if you're looking for a decent home rack that gets the job done with moderate weights and at a reasonable price, this is a great deal! I paid $200, and also purchased the FLYBIRD Adjustable Multi-Purpose Foldable Incline Bench ($140). I ended up buying a 300-lb weight set (that included a 7-ft, 50-lb barbell) at Dicks for $300. So, for $640 I have a complete setup. ** This review should be read with knowledge that I am a small, 54 y/o guy (5'8", 150 lb) and don't load the rack up with tons of weight** The most I've loaded up the rack with is ~200 lbs. I'm lifting mostly to maintain muscle mass (and hopefully gain a little if possible). I (and my kids) have been using the setup now for ~2 months and all I can is that I am extremely pleased with the rack. Because I don't use heavy weights, I have also not tested the spotter arms with heavy weights. I'm not sure I would trust the arms with heavy weights. No way in hell would I trust them with the stated capacity of 900 lbs!!! Even though I don't use heavy weights, I'm considering adding custom-made vertical 2-in square steel support arms near the ends of the spotter arms for additional support. This would give me more peace of mind that they will definitely not give. But then I'd have to keep the spotter arms at the same height at all times, which is OK for my needs. The overall construction is a little flimsy. Again, we're not talking pro, gym-quality construction here. For example, you don't want to be dropping or otherwise crashing your bar into any part of this rack. Also, the top of the rack where the pull up bar is shakes a bit during use. While this bothered me at first, after a couple of months of use I'm neither bothered by it anymore nor concerned that the shaking compromises safety. But again, I'm not using heavy weights. I don't think I would feel safe using this rack with hundreds of pounds. But at the lighter weights I'm using (<200 lbs) I feel safe. Overall, as someone who is just trying to maintain my strength and muscle mass using lighter weights, this rack serves my needs perfectly. If I were younger and serious about lifting and gaining mass, I would definitely spend significantly more money on a serious pro-quality rack, or just join a gym. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price
Style: Squat Rack Only
Was trying to decide between something like this and a full cage, and decided to try this out to save some room. I really like the extended spotting pins (they are longer than most out there for this price) and the j hooks are nice. Instructions were good, and it was boxed up/protected super well. The quality of the rack tho is definitely not commercial grade. I was tightening the bolts on the rack and once i had them down to probably about 30 ft lbs (estimating here) I thought it was strange that it wasn't getting any tighter-come to find out the frame was actually giving in a bit so i stopped! But, i kind of knew it going in that it wasn't going to be super sturdy, but it was on sale and figured for me being older it would be fine. Have done some incline benches with 135, squats with around 200, and its sturdy enough. Definitely wouldn't want to be throwing the back into the rack and getting aggressive with things like you can do with commercial quality stuff if that makes sense. But for the money it will work for me being an older guy! (plus it will probably keep me in check by not thinking I should be maxing out all the time!). The one thing that i thought was a bit disappointing were the plate holders on the side. Super small rod so not olympic bar size which is fine, but man they seem flimsy. (Made out of the same "metal" as the rack i assume. I have a 45 on each side to stabilize the rack, but i'm a bit worried to throw more on there as i think it will bend the holders!) ... show more

  • Nice and sturdy
Style: Squat Rack Only
We needed a stronger sturdier rack to hold our barbell. My teenage son lifts very heavy and our old one was starting to fall. I love the safety bars and the multi function uses.
