I purchased this item to make limoncello with by steeping lemon peels with vodka. The opening is generous, with plenty of space for me to put a hand in. This will help with clean up later on! The glass is thick and feels sturdy and the measurement lines on the sides are helpful. The included lid is a canning lid (separate rim and top with wax) which I did not expect as someone new to buying jars.
