i am a new fish hobbyist and have several fish tanks in my house. i first started out with a generic brand at the store and was immediately unimpressed. i did more research and so many people spoke highly of the fluval brand. i took a chance and gave it a go and holy moly, this fluval tank is amazing!!!! with my non-fluval tank, i have to clean out the algae or watch the water quality but with the fluval tank, i barely have to look out for the cleanliness or even making sure if the filter works. this tank requires very little to zero upkeep and while it is priced on the higher side, it is totally worth it with how easy the handling, cleaning, and enjoyment is! the tank is on so quietly you can barely tell that it is even on. as a fish newbie, i had to check several times to make sure the filter was running because it was so quiet and assembled so discretely that it is not an eyesore. i am truly so so impressed with this fish tank and i have zero complaint about it. it is the full set including the filtration system, lights, and just everything. the design is perfect - love the bold design and the lights are so awesome with the different light combo along with the scenes like thunderstorm! if you are a newbie like me, you cannot go wrong with this well-built fish tank. seriously, there is nothing better than this. just wow!!!! ... show more

We love this fish tank. Mainly because it comes with its own filter and the lights are controlled by your phone and it has a night time setting where it will slowly get dark for night and then you can also have a “storm” with the lights like lightening.

I would suggest NOT buying this tank!!! I bought this aquarium because I have the Flex 15 gallon and love it. This tank has been a disappointment! It runs hot compared to all my other tanks and I had to buy a chiller. Then the filtering is terrible! I added two large sponge filters for filtration. This is an extremely expensive tank and for what I paid I could have had a much larger, much more efficient tank!! I seriously regret this purchase! ... show more

There is a lot to love about this tank including the filtration, which is super quiet. There are two large filter sponges with space inside and underneath for additional filtration. I have Chemipure elite with mine. The compartment in the back is nicely sized and allows you to hide the heater and filter. The app for this is amazing. I downloaded it to my iPhone, entered my country, hit “auto” and it is programmed automatically. I didn’t have to fool with buttons, but if you want, you can program it yourself easily. The only thing I don’t like about it, is the feeding slot is small, so if you want to target feed, you have to remove the hood. It’s the same for water changes, which is kind of a pain. Overall it’s an attractive, good tank. I got mine off of Petco, and only paid $300 with my vital care discount. ... show more

The product shown in Amaon is for a fish aquarium with filtration, heater, etc. The item sent 2 times was a stand for aquariums. The product number or identifier is incorrect. Actual product number needs to be verified and matched up.
