Forrest Nash is a for all intents and purposes, a hacker. He used to do some questionable things with those skills, for the greater good, but now he puts those skills to good use as helping solve crimes. Penelope Briggs is a widow; she lost the love of her life when he was serving the USA. She is a single mom of 3 and doing her best. Forrest has been in lust with Penelope since he was a little boy, now as a grown man he can’t stand her. She is bossier and sassier than any man can handle. As for Forrest, Penelope can’t stand him either, he’s cocky and a know it all. What the two can’t deny is they have some serious chemistry in the bedroom. One night turns into two, and they can’t seem to keep their hands off of each other. The two think they’re being sneaky, but when a job Forrest is working threatens Penelope’s safety, he’ll do anything to protect her. The question is, are either willing to admit they are more than just friends with benefits? Forrest Nash, I’ve been waiting for his book since Keaton’s. Don’t get me wrong Carrie Aarons is three for three when it comes to the Nash brothers. Each of them are swoony in their own way, but Forrest, that nerdy vibe just makes me love him even more than his other brother’s. Carrie has absolutely killed it with the third installment in the Nash Brother’s series. I love a girl with some sass and Penelope has that in spades, and the chemistry that Carrie brings to life with her writing of this book is white hot. I couldn’t put this book down; it was an absolute page turner. This book was such a quick read because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Flutter is a fabulous single mom romance. If you like a small age gap and single parent romance, then look no further than this one. This is Forrest and Penelope's story. You get the chemistry and flirtatious build up in the previous books now you get the heat. I love Forrest and Penelope together. Their banter will put a smile on your face as they sound like an old marry couple at times. Forrest is cocky and brilliant. Penelope is a fabulous single mom of three boys and does everything she can for those boys. You feel for Penelope as she struggles to move on from the death of her husband. I love how Forrest is with Penelope's boys. This one has a little bit of action in it as it comes down to Forrest and his job that you are going to love. It is so hard to pick a favorite Nash brother at this point. I cannot wait to dig into Fletcher's story next. Go one click this one. ... show more

Flutter by Carrie Aarons is the third book in her Nash Brothers series. Told in dual POV between Forrest Nash, the genius hacker and one half of the Nash twins, and Penelope Briggs, the widowed mother of 3 boys that Forrest has crushed on since he was 12 and she was 17. The push and pull between Forrest's introverted and egotistical behavior and Penelope's bold, take no crap attitude to life is titillating. She is self-conscious of the fact that he is younger than her and allows that to create a barrier. She also doesn't want anyone to know they are sleeping together. Forrest, on the other hand, is starting to realize that while he may have been aloof and distant and uncaring with women in the past, it was less a reflection on him and more a reflection on the fact they weren't Penelope. Well-written and well-paced I am so completely invested in this series, the town of Fawn Hill and the Nash brothers, their significant others and extended family and friends. I am very excited to read the next book in this series, Falter, which releases July 25, 2019. Enjoy! ... show more

    • Cute but irregular
Overall a cute stories. But this and the others in the series have multiple irregularities that I caught. Such as one page saying Travis was her older son and then the next saying “she was hugging her middle child” named Travis. It made it a bit distracting.

Love love love this book. I have to admit I wasn't sure if I would adore it like the other 2 books, because this book has a younger man as the H- and I don't get into those type of books- not sure why, but I just don't. HOWEVER, this book is just perfect. It has some suspense, decades of whistful longing, and a Stubborn woman. But truly she's perfect. Penelope had been through heart-wrenching tragic events in her life, and she's hesitant to move on. I get that and it makes sense. Forrest is just a great guy and he loves her. You can tell. One-clicking this book is a must. ... show more

Just another amazing chapter in the story of the Nash brothers from dawn hill. Forrest Nash is the most recent brother to bite the dust. What starts out as maybe hate sex turns into an arrangement of convenience , but can either of these two keep the feelings at bay. I inhaled this book on a Sunday morning. Can’t get enough of Carrie Aarons or these brothers. ... show more
