I live in a fairly tight studio apartment, so I didn't have room for a massive setup. This desk fits right into the alcove next to my bed without blocking the walkway. The natural oak finish looks surprisingly high-end; the textured "fluted" front gives it a cool vibe that matches my other mid-century furniture better than the plain white ones I looked at. I usually do my makeup around 7 AM before heading to the office, and the lighting options are clutch since my apartment has terrible natural light. I switch it to the cool white setting to make sure my foundation doesn't look orange. I needed vanity lights for my Christmas tree and found these to be the perfect fit. They are proprietary low-voltage lights designed for a mirror that originally didn’t come with any. The construction is solid, although they are made of plastic rather than glass. While they lack storage capacity unless you disassemble the bulbs, they have an appealing aesthetic. I’m excited to see how beautiful they will look once I install them.
