Description

Flowmaster's Super 10 Series 409S Stainless Steel - Single Chamber mufflers are intended for customers who desire the loudest and most aggressive sound they can find. Because these mufflers are so aggressive, they are recommended only for off highway use and not for street driven vehicles. These mufflers utilize the same patented Delta Flow technology that is found in Flowmaster's other Super Series mufflers to deliver maximum performance. Super 10 Series mufflers are constructed of 16-gauge 409S Stainless Steel and fully MIG-welded for maximum durability.

Took me weeks to decide which set up I should go with. Dual in dual out.... 2 single in single out..... or single in dual out, such as this one.. Decided to install this single in dual out on my 06 charger , with its factory 2.5 piping all around. The Inlet is 2.5 but outlet is 2.25, so I installed it only with this super 10 only, haven't done the whole dual rears yet, as I'm still deciding what to do... decided to do 2.5 pipe in rear and 2021 SRT stock factory rear exhaust on mine.... haven't done it yet and not sure how muffler shop will run 2.25 dual rear into 2.5 rear pipes.... place that only installed this super 10 did a janky job so I'll have to get it all set and done when I got the rest of the $$$ at a better muffler shop Super 10 was delivered in its own "flowmaster red box" and a shipping label was slapped on it, so be warned , everyone will see it during shipping and at your home.... (i thought to myself, their just gonna ship it in the Flowmaster box and just slap a shipping label to it, and they did" lol $99 for this was about right ... show more

    • Great sound not a DIY for a beginner
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love the sound it’s given my Silverado and it fits great and sounds great. I didn’t receive the muffler with any damage to the casing or the box itself. I would recommend if your not well versed in welding or bending pipes (unless you bought a kit) don’t try this at home it’s not a plug and play type deal especially just buying the muffler itself. Overall I love flowmaster mufflers it’s a great all around muffler would recommend to anyone plus it’s a better deal on here then it is trying to get one flow the local parts store ... show more

    • threw this onto my 3.5 Chrysler 300, it sounds GREAT.
Threw this onto an older 3.5 sxt mopar, it sounds great at idle, it almost has a choppy, cammed sound and really drowns out the "hair-dryer" sound coming from the engine bay that's VERY noticeable in stock form. I got rid of the resonator as well and this car is STILL quiet at idle and warm startups. But it does have a nice deep rumble to it, I get to avoid cops and have fun on my own. The listing says this is the "2.50 Center IN / 2.25 Dual OUT" but I received the 2.50 Center IN / 2.50 Dual OUT" hopefully the people at the muffler shop can tailor the tube to fit this and then turn it into what I need (probably more money out of my pocket thanks to this mishap). BTW this is the second time I order something from Flowmaster/Holley and they always seem to miss somehow. Also all the mufflers I've received are MADE IN CHINA. I'm not super excited about American made products but if I see "MADE IN AMERICA/USA" I expect to receive the item made in the USA, don't you agree? ... show more

Sounded great on my 2010 Nissan altima v6. It's super difficult to find a muffler that will make a 6 cylinder sound good but thankfully this one was perfect for my application

Installed on 2008 Ford Fusion V6 with k&n cold air intake, resonator and cat removed (header cats still in place) Put in place of the rear Y pipe, put in 2.5 inch pipes from the flowmaster to 3.5 inch tips out the back. Tone is surprising, certainly loud, deeper with more of the underwater rumble than you'd think the 3.0 can put out. Comparable sound to a v8 with a flowmaster 40 or so, not as loud as most muscle cars, but some. Performance is improved mostly with initial launch. I can't say if it added any actual power or improved any times because I have not tested either, but it certainly feels like it pulls you into your seat stronger. I'd recommend this to most people looking for a good sound that's got a respectable name without getting a raspy ricer fart can or buzz. I feel like youre buying a name with something like borla, when you can get the job done here without going as low as the 19.99 thrush clearance special. ... show more
