Description

Flowmaster's Super 10 Series 409S Stainless Steel - Single Chamber mufflers are intended for customers who desire the loudest and most aggressive sound they can find. Because these mufflers are so aggressive, they are recommended only for off highway use and not for street driven vehicles. These mufflers utilize the same patented Delta Flow technology that is found in Flowmaster's other Super Series mufflers to deliver maximum performance. Super 10 Series mufflers are constructed of 16-gauge 409S Stainless Steel and fully MIG-welded for maximum durability.

Installed on 2008 Ford Fusion V6 with k&n cold air intake, resonator and cat removed (header cats still in place) Put in place of the rear Y pipe, put in 2.5 inch pipes from the flowmaster to 3.5 inch tips out the back. Tone is surprising, certainly loud, deeper with more of the underwater rumble than you'd think the 3.0 can put out. Comparable sound to a v8 with a flowmaster 40 or so, not as loud as most muscle cars, but some. Performance is improved mostly with initial launch. I can't say if it added any actual power or improved any times because I have not tested either, but it certainly feels like it pulls you into your seat stronger. I'd recommend this to most people looking for a good sound that's got a respectable name without getting a raspy ricer fart can or buzz. I feel like youre buying a name with something like borla, when you can get the job done here without going as low as the 19.99 thrush clearance special. ... show more

These are terrific I installed them on an Acura TLX Type S & the sound is virtually straight piped so I had to add a resonator now it's perfect, but without that resonators it sounded like a Ferrari just too much attention for me. Threw this onto an older 3.5 sxt mopar, it sounds great at idle, it almost has a choppy, cammed sound and really drowns out the "hair-dryer" sound coming from the engine bay that's VERY noticeable in stock form. I got rid of the resonator as well and this car is STILL quiet at idle and warm startups. But it does have a nice deep rumble to it, I get to avoid cops and have fun on my own. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love the sound it’s given my Silverado and it fits great and sounds great. I didn’t receive the muffler with any damage to the casing or the box itself. I would recommend if your not well versed in welding or bending pipes (unless you bought a kit) don’t try this at home it’s not a plug and play type deal especially just buying the muffler itself. Overall I love flowmaster mufflers it’s a great all around muffler would recommend to anyone plus it’s a better deal on here then it is trying to get one flow the local parts store ... show more

Then I put the flow master in the middle and did duel straight pipes out the end of the car. Couldn’t be happier with the results. I think the video speaks for itself. ... show more

I was half thinking this may be way to loud just by the dimensions of muffler and some of the reviews. But after having it installed in my 2016 RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI I would recommend this to all RAM owners that want a low mean rumble! Bought this and replaced the original muffler left the rest factory resonators and all! Best sound I have heard in a long while even better than the 40 and 44 series Flowmaster. A must have IMO. ... show more
