A very simple to put together lamp, however it has a very solid, heavy and elegant feel to it. I really like that the light-bulb is NOT shining directly at you, but upwards towards the ceiling.     • This lamp is not dimmable
The fixture is supposed to allow the bulbs to be dimmed at the rotary switch. It does not dim the bulbs. The only thing it does is turn them on and off. Otherwise a decent lamp for the money

    • Bulb Size/Brightness could be better
They come with a couple of LED lights that, tho small, still protrude beyond the glass shade causing some glare and they could be brighter, but brighter would probably mean bigger which would protrude even further. Still, they seem to be of good quality, they were easy to assemble and I like the one adjustable arm to point where you need it. ... show more

    • Stable floor lamp and bright enough
I am very pleased with this lamp. It's stable, yet it still has a small enough footprint to fit against the wall back beside the recliner. I can move and adjust the smaller lamp for reading. I thought one minor drawback was that the reading lamp switch was situated at the left outside of the globe cover, however you can rotate the cover and so the switch so you can reach it easier from where you sit. The main light is sufficiently bright yet ambient and pleasant in the evening. It is true that the light bulb is visible above the main light shade/cover, but I don't mind that much. ... show more
