I needed a lamp for a small space. This lamp has a small footprint and is stylish. It looks great in our space. It was easy to put together and came packaged really well. Instructions were perfect. What was unclear to me at first before I bought it is that the bulb it comes with is a Smart Bulb which is why it works with the remote. So the lamp can be used with a conventional bulb, or any Smart bulb of your choice. Just be aware that if you buy a new Smart bulb, unless it is exactly the same as the one it came with, the remote will not work. But most Smart bulbs come with their own remote. The only issue I had was that the bulb died after less than a day. Because it was a smart bulb I didn't want the expense of having to replace it myself because it should have lasted much longer. I was in touch with the seller and they ended up sending me a whole new lamp, even though I needed just the bulb. I really appreciated that! ... show more

This is an amazing lamp for the price. The lampshade it comes with is a little cheap in material (it is just plastic) but the customizable options make this product worth it. I am not one that writes product reviews; however, my experience with this product has been so subpar I decided to write one. The light assembly is easy to set up and looks great, but the deal breaker is that the light bulbs last approximately 12 hours. I initially bought two lamps and set them up around 8pm. I turned them off and went to bed. The next morning, approximately at 8am, I tried turning them on and they wouldn't, despite any troubleshooting I tried on my end. I thought I just got bad bulbs so I requested replacement lamps through Amazon. I set up the new lamps and bulbs at the same time 8pm, turned them off, went to bed, and woke up at 8am to turn them on again which they didn't. I will be returning the lamps altogether. It is a shame the bulbs do not work because the lamps themselves look great. It is astonishing that four bulbs stop working after a 12hr period. It is not worth your hard earned money to take the risk on these lamps. If you do not care about the bulbs and only want the lamp then you will be happy. If you want the bulb then do not risk it. ... show more

Considering it was on sale and is usable to a point. I’ll keep it . If I paid full price it would go back. ( and still might). For an inexpensive lamp, it looks good. Easy to put together. THE REMOTE IS A DISASTER. The directions do not address the remote at all. If it weren’t for other reviews with hints and the video I’d of sent it back the next day. About the remote…..you must pair it with the bulb. Turn lamp on and within 5 seconds press 1-2-3 together. If the lamp blinks you got it….maybe! All the buttons work on mine but 1-2-3. #2 does nothing, #3 does nothing,#1 turns it off. ... show more
