It's okay for the price point which I love, but I'm not wowed. It's fine for the living room behind the couch and I rated it 4 stars as I like the scale of it, heavy weighted base and foot dimmer. It was easy enough to put the lamp together. The drum lampshade is 12" diameter X 8" in height and a little too small for the scale of the arc/height. It needs to be 2"+ wider and a smidge taller. The shade it easy to put together, but I had to super glue the trim edge as it was separating (bubbling out). Easy enough to fix. The light bulb included is a model ST64 E26 dimmable 8 W 4000K - it's very bright white. I missed this in the product description and reviews - I will find a warm white bulb and find a bigger lampshade. Hope my pickiness helps with your shopping. ... show more

Out of the package the base had this ding in it. I wish the cord length from the base to the dimmer switch was longer. The main vertical shaft of the lamp has a slight lean even though everything is tightly screwed together. The amount of light from the included bulb is nice even though this lamp doesn't work in my space like I hoped. ... show more
