  • Works as stated
Color: Black Configuration: 1 Camera System
Camera works as describe on Amazon. It came packaged well. Easy to setup and app is easy to use. Good deal for the price. Flood light is is not as bright as I would like but it is still a good light. I only wish the night vison was in color. Otherwise, great starter camera for outside.

  • Great Blink Floodlights
Color: Black Configuration: Mount Accessory Only
The floodlights were easy to install. We added the floodlights to an existing Blink camera and they were readily recognized. All we had to do was plug the unit into the camera. It is a great added feature which allows us to get much clearer night vision without auxiliary floodlights. We plan on purchasing additional units for our other outside cameras. Better quality than pictured. It is a very sturdy unit. ... show more

  • Good purchase
Color: Black Configuration: Mount Accessory Only
I have 3 floodlights, a doorbell, and 4 regular cameras. I love the way they work, very simple to set up, fairly fast notifications, easy to connect after changing a password. My family loves the security the lights provide when going outside to the car or taking the dogs out. No complaints including the price. I wait for them to go on sale. Battery life is amazing! Working for 2 years so far. Love em! ... show more

  • Great Battery Powered Camera
Color: Black Configuration: 1 Camera System
So, originally I was gonna shell out some money to go with a ring system. I needed four cameras with floodlights, and a doorbell camera. Right before hitting submit, my husband's coworker friend told us to wait and look up the Blink system. I am VERY glad he stopped us. For one thing, this was at least $400+ dollars cheaper than Ring's bundle. I wasn't going to be able to grab a doorbell cam from Ring until later because adding one on was more than the budget I had. With Blink's pricetag, I could get the doorbell camera and still be saving $400+. For another, I wasn't sure how bright Ring's lights would be. The coworker said they weren't very bright, bright enough for the camera to have somewhat of a night vision, but not enough to do what I wanted, which was shine a light on the area the camera is pointed at. Blink's lights are very obvious on the camera, and they're very bright without being ridiculously so. It helps me out a ton at night in my back yard to see my porch, my steps, and any toys my son decided to leave as traps in my path. Don't know why he does this seeing as how I use a cane and a wheelchair sometimes. Maybe he's trying to give me one of those obstacle course challenges! They are also very responsive. The whole thing was so easy to set up and I love how they included multiple ways to attach the cameras to your home. I needed to use the siding clips for most of my house, but I did have to buy a hammer drill, masonry bits, and brick screws to mount one of the cameras to the front of my house that is all bricks. The app is really easy to use and allowed me to easily put my doorbell camera and my front camera on the same sync module, and then turn on only the doorbell camera as the front one still needed to be mounted. It also allowed me to block out the street in front of my house as my neighbors driving to their houses would set off the motion detection. Not a lot as I live on a short cul-de-sac, but still enough to be annoying. That was very easy to do with their zone option. The camera quality is SO GOOD too. MUCH better than Ring's in my opinion. Especially at night. I looked at a video of a friend's night time Ring camera that detected motion and you could BARELY make out the form of a bunny hopping past. My camera picks up those bunnies and squirrels at night clear as day. It's really cool to be able to see the animals move around at night and they don't set off the camera unless they're on or immediately around my back deck. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this camera system brand. You won't be disappointed! ... show more

  • Cool Idea Motion Light Needs Work 😎
Color: Black Configuration: 1 Camera System
The media could not be loaded. Update: Bought another one and same issues AND this one when you turn the light on it just flashes. It turns on then off. You have to press the on button again. I'm OK with it because I can use it as a quick flash to deter things. Hmm maybe Blink should add a quick flash option with adjustable timing. 😐 The cool part is that this is battery powered. That means you can pretty much stick this anywhere within range of the sync module and wifi of course. The light is bright enough to clearly light up the way. The adjustments are good both the positioning of the LEDs and brightness levels. What's not good is the motion activated lighting. It doesn't work. Once again it is up to us the consumer to figure out as the makers don't have a grasp on the termology of words and what they should do. Daylight mode clearly states the light working under lit conditions. It even has a setting for it and it doesn't matter if you go to 1 which they say is complete dark conditions or up to 10 it states a warning about battery consumption. Now here's the big TIP to get the motion activated light working. You have to turn on Daylight Mode. Now motion triggers the LED lights on making the other option Light Activation by Motion moot. 🤔 There is quite a delay here. Not to annoying but definitely a hindrance. Faster moving objects will be missed. ie cat dog people walking briskly cars going by. They had a similar problem with terms on their doorbell cam having speaker and ringer volume controls not working in conjuction with what the words suggest. They have somewhat fixed it and they could fix this issue as well in a FW update. Then there's the other bigger issue. When you live view and turn on the light the image darkens up. Doesn't matter if I have the lights set at full brightness. I used the stock setting 5. Then when you turn off the light the image goes even darker. It seems the camera has a problem readjusting iso and or exposure. But this is not a problem during recordings. It records fine with the light coming on. 🤔 See my video and if they take it down find me on YouTube. The mounting bracket seems to work well making it easy to remove and replace batteries. The bracket also comes with an under siding mount which is better suited for the harder wood siding than vinyl bc of the weight. I had to make a mount for my application as I could not just mount the backing plate there is no solid wood behind the flashing. Looks like I covered my house number, oh no. 😅 I have a separate house number thing that lights up. 😎 This is another cool Blink item that needs a little tweaking. There is quite a delay turning lights on n off and when motion triggers. I give it 1 star because Blink has not restored the options and features that was sold with their product lines at the onset which was a huge selling point. A crude analogy, you can't charge someone for using cruise control after they buy the car. You can't charge people for using appealing features which was the reason you purchased the item in the first place. No one likes this bait n switch. 👎 Oh and one more thing, your trial period should not start over when you add another camera. Instead it should add another 30 days to what you have remaining. By my count Blink owes me about 3yrs of the free trial. That's how many cameras I've purchased. I am going to purchase another one of these floodlights because I'm too far into the Blink system. However as my security needs change I may ditch all this for a real security system as Blink continues with their nonsense. Stop throttling. And don't say you don't because we know you do. ... show more
