I bought the 4 Pack 50W version with Stake for outdoor holiday lighting. So far, I'm very happy with them and would purchase again. So here are the details. Packaging: Each light came in it's own individual box. And all for boxes were packaged in a larger box. Overall, very nice packaging, (but who really cares about that anyway). Bubble wrap around each light and a small User Manual pamphlet inside each box. The user manual actually has some useable info in it. It's in slightly broken English, but I've seen way worse. I rate it 7 out of 10. Construction: These seem to be built very well. Solid metal construction, including the ground stake. I expected the stake to be plastic, but it was metal. Seems built to last. Initial Power-on: All 4 worked right out of the box. It's plenty bright. Its easily lighting trees even though I'm running some of the lights at as little as 50% power. It has basically two sets of LEDs; an RGB set and a white set. The white ones are a nice warm white. Setup: This it probably the easiest device I've ever connected to my phone. 1) Open the App 2) Plug in the light 3) Click the + sign and click the "Enter to Add" button. 4) The new light will add itself almost instantly. Thats it. The light is now added to the app. I've had more trouble connecting headphones than these lights. A+ here. Note: The lights do remember how they were last set, so if you cut power to them and turn them back on later, they will resume the same color/power setting. The App: The app is a weak point. It's not the best lighting app I've used. But it does work without problems, and it does everything I need. You can easily select the desired color and brightness from a color wheel. Or select pure white. I have not found a way to use both the White and the RGB Leds at the same time. There are also about 20 simple preset modes, includes mostly flashing and color fade modes. There are some really basic adjustments to each mode. There are also 2 DIY Flash and DIY Fade modes. It also includes a Music mode and a Rhythm mode. I haven't tried these, so I can't tell you any more about them. The Lights can be grouped together (multiple groups can be created), which allows you to control the lights as a group instead of individually. Lastly, you can rename each light to whatever you want. This does NOT work with Alexa or Google because it does not have Wi-Fi support. But they are upfront about that. Final thoughts on the app: I wish it had more features, but it does what I need/want it to do. And no, you do not need to keep the app open and running when the lights are on. The BRmesh: I haven't really used this, but in theory, if you had 20 of these lights and each light was in range of at least one other light, you should be able to control any of them even if only one light is within range of your phone. A nice feature I plan on trying. Power usage: I took some power measurements: White: 100% - 36 Watts; 75% - 14 W; 50% - 10 W; 25% - 6 W Primary Colors Red, Green, Blue: 100% - 14 Watts; 75% - 11 W; 50% - 7 W; 25% - 5 W Mixed Colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow: 100% - 22 Watts; 75% - 16 W; 50% - 12 W; 25% - 7 W Overall: I really like these lights. They're built well and setup is a breeze. But the I need to ding them 1 star for an app that needs some work. If the app were better, it'd be perfect. I definitely would purchase again. ... show more

I'm a serious decorating and lighting addict whether it's for Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras, 4th of July, or simply various whites for indoor or landscaping. I love what can be done with lights. Theses are new so I don't know how long these will last - and my first impression is these are excellent. They are icredibly bright with vivid colors. The app is good. Plus these went through one hell of a rain this past halloween season and even though we had problems with literally almost everything we had out, these were absolutely fine. The wind ripped off the head on our ground breaking skeleton and bent in half our brand new animatronics witch with a steel pole and supports.
