These lights are incredibly easy to setup with a phone with Bluetooth and equally as easy to customize using the mobile app. You just plug it in by your phone and it will detect it and add it to your app. No further setup needed and next time you plug it in, the app will remember the light so you can start controlling it immediately. I have these lights for two main reasons: the first is that I make YouTube videos and having good lighting is key for making a good video. The lights are very very bright, and I can control the brightness level very easily to look just how I want it to. An added benefit is using the green color of the light against a green screen to get a really good chroma key for fun green screen effects that are much easier to edit in post due to the bright and rich green color it projects on the green screen. This is really helpful when working with a green screen. It also works really well for lighting subjects with the standard light color. There are almost unlimited color options you can pick from and there are default options so you can quickly pick the color that works best for your needs. These really are a game changer for my videography lighting needs. The second reason I like these lights is because we love decorating our house for Halloween and Christmas and these lights can be used outdoors and even have programmed cycles for colors if you want to get fancy. Because you can customize the colors, you can easily change from one season color scheme to the next with a few taps on you phone. If you are looking for lights that are great for indoor and outdoor use, these lights are easy to use, won’t break your budget, and are very versatile for many uses. The images are taken in my office in my bookshelf. The first image is without any lights and minimal sunlight from my window. The next image is the standard light color at full brightness, then using standard green, then using standard blue, and finally, a combination of the green and blue, which makes an interesting and pretty combination. Very simple to set up. Just would like to be able to set the timer to more than just one light, I think you should be able to set a timer to the whole set. Other than that, these lights are amazing. Very easy to use and set the colors. Would definitely recommend these lights!
