Got this panel because I wanted something that could more easily fit into a backpack or other small spaces. While performance is generally not going to match something with legs, it performs VERY well for a panel designed to be laid flat Performance: In my test I was getting 77w when a competing panel with legs was getting 90w. This is honestly perfectly acceptable considering the folded size, price, and ease of use. Be aware that blanket style panels perform notably worse in late fall and winter. A 100w blanket will basically always beat a 60w folder even if it has legs. Ease of use: You just unfold it and plug it into your usb-c device or powerstation. No fussing with angles, it just works. Includes some carbineers if you want to hang it from something, I suggest hanging it with the orange connector bar DOWN, as this will protect the ports from moisture better and hang more evenly. Size and Weight: Size was as expected, but I was taken off guard by the weight, it actually weighs considerably less than most of my other 100w portables. The bag it comes with feels quite durable and capable of protecting the panel in transport. Overall this is an easy recommendation if you're willing to sacrifice a few watts in the name of portability

I’ve tested a few portable solar panels, and the FlexSolar 100W is easily one of the best for the price. It’s incredibly compact, lightweight, and easy to carry by the built-in handle, with integrated kickstands that make angling it toward the sun a breeze. Performance-wise, it pulls in great wattage in direct sunlight, easily topping off my portable power station using the included connectors, while the convenient USB ports can charge my phone and tablet simultaneously. It’s well-built and rugged enough to withstand the elements outside, making it a reliable, no-nonsense setup for camping, road trips, or emergencies. I highly recommend it!

Pretty solid little panel, folds up nice and compact. Seems durable so far after 2 weeks of camping. Value isn’t bad. Comparible wirh most power banks Charges at about 75-80 watts in direct sun after power loss. Cords work and are really convenient since they contain all the right connections.

This folding solar panel set up has worked great as a power source for my electric car refrigerator. I pair it with a small Rockpals battery system that allows me to keep the fridge cold in camp at the same time that the battery is replenished from the overnight drawdown. It is super compact and lightweight, and it comes in a nice padded case. I just returned from a multiday camping trip in Baja with a large group of overlanders, and my set up was the envy of the group. It was conveninetly set up from the base of a car-top tent, and the ladder provided the perfect support with correct orientation to the sun. On previous trips, I've set it up on the car windshield and on top of a tent. I have found the output to good even with some overcast, and it has been great on clear sunny days in the desert.

I'm using the flex solar 100 watt solar panel to power my starlink mini, I purchased the peakdo v1 battery pack for the starlink mini. Most of the panels say that they only provide 20 to 30% of the power of the panels, so I figured if the starlink mini requires about 20 to 30 watts to run consistently then the hundred watt solar panel should be able to keep up with charging it no problem. The flex solar 100 watt panel is the only one I've found so far that works as far as pass through charging into the peakdo battery pack, as of right now it's 9:00 a.m. the sun isn't completely over the panels but they're keeping up just fine I'll post some pictures and a video that shows it all and describes it also, all of this fits into a backpack or take this camping and I'll provide internet all day long no problem.

The voltage produced is efficient for my usage, managed 8V even under heavy clouds. Phone charging took about 3h for 30% charge under cloudy sky, have not had the chance to test in full sun. The foldability is great, fits into a 14-inch laptop bag dimensions that will make it easy for travel (planning to bring on flights, but not sure if airport immigration customs will allow it through). I bought a separate PWM device to link up to my Li-ion battery for charging/discharging.

It works fine in the short term, able to charge multiple devices from a single sunny day, but all of the outlets to connect the panel to other devices or a battery stopped working in way less than a year of regular use. I don't feel like I got the value of what I paid for.

This panel is exactly as advertised. It pushes 100W under ideal conditions and gets pretty close to that even in overcast or indirect conditions. The panel folds up to the size of a large tablet. It's pretty light, at 4lbs. It's not a bunch of glass cells but rather a cloth-like carbon fiber type of material. Meaning it's durable, easy to maintain, and won't scratch. I've laid this out in grass several times and it was easy to keep it clean before storing it away again. In just 3 hours of usage I was able to charge 3 people's worth of phones, battery packs, and headlamps, for the day... each day. We never ran out of power. An absolute game changer!
