Having two Flexi-Spot adjustable desks that work like dreams, I felt confident in buying a Flexi-Spot adjustable bed frame. This product is fantastic. Shipping box and packing is super sturdy. The customer assembly involves carrying folded product to location, attaching two bolts, several zip ties, plugging in two cables, plugging the power cord in to the power brick and flipping the whole unit over on to the existing bed frame. We spent more time vacuuming under the bed then we did assembling. The remote is simple and easy to use. Unwrapping the batteries from the shrink wrap was the hardest part of the install, LOL! The bed racks…they keep the mattress from sliding…just get pressed in. It’s easy to locate the foot the bed when assembling because there are two holes on the top for the bottom bed rack. They are unobtrusive and end well below the mattress. We have a latex mattress that isn’t deep and the racks are not a problem. We did move one wooden slat from the existing bed frame under the top cross beam of the adjustable frame away from the movement arm. The arm doesn’t hit the wooden slat would flex down and make a bit of a tapping sound. By repositioning the wooden slat the problem was solved. The best part is RIDING this newly crafted bed/amusement park ride! Jump on and start playing with that remote. Lay flat and hit the zero g button. The bed movement is silky smooth. The motor is quiet and when the foot end is moving it’s almost silent. Super fun to push all the button, try out different heights, trying out laying on back, on sides, with feet up, with feet down, laying there and letting the frame raise to “reading” height, try every combo you can think of. Post sleep result: this frame is magical!

This is my first adaptable frame so I have no point of comparison. But set up was not bad and it feels sturdy and works and I have no complaints. One thing to keep in mind: the product arrives in a box that is very heavy. It says on the box that the product should only be lifted with machinery. Fedex deposited it at the bottom of the steps to my home and it was an exercise in strategic maneuvering to get it up the steps and into the house by myself. I was home at the time and saw the Fedex lady wrestling it out the back of the truck (I'm pretty sure she just pushed it out and let it drop to the floor). I asked is she needed help, and she pointed at it at the foot of the steps in the rain and said: "Nope, it's all yours" and drove off. The product was undamaged -- I guess it is sturdy and well-packaged. Just keep in mind that you will likely need someone to help you bring it in.

I really like this bed for my husband after a stroke. Motors are very quiet and there are two buttons on the remote that you can customize to save position memory settings. That said ... It takes more than ten minutes to put together and you definitely need two people. The foot motor has to be installed (wrenches are provided) and the electrical cords have to be plugged in, as well as screwing the legs in place and using the nylon tie straps to secure cords. What messed me up were the three extra cords left over at the end. I bought a twin XL and had no idea that these cords were used to attach a second bed (if you bought one) to make a split king. Back to the parts list and saw the word "sinc" cord. So, we set them aside, held our breath and plugged it in. YES!!! The led lights blinked. It is a great bed once assembled.

MY one complaint is that it is H-E-A-V-Y ! Had to get help carrying it inside. then I had to call a friend to help assemble it... not because it was complicated.. it was actually fairly easy.. but it was so heavy and bulky that I couldn't assemble it alone. but ohhh it is such a comfortable bed ! The remote is easy to use and I love the little side pocket to place the remote in so I don't lose it. and I love being able to breathe at night for once. Long Covid damaged my lungs and this made it difficult for me to breathe lying flat down. but with this bed I can finally rest and breathe at night. I was afraid my dog would freak out because of the moving parts of the bed. But this bed is so quiet and moves so subtly that the dog hardly reacts. She just yawns and snuggles up .

Replaced a queen bed platform with it. Modified the center hinge to fold the other way to keep the under bed storage accessible (removed the hinge bolts and fastened a piano hinge with self driling screws). Replaced the gas springs with heavier units to lift it . Added a 12 to 28 volt voltage boost circuit so the bed works whether boondocking or on shore power, with inverter or generator off. Bed and remote work very well. The nightlights are a nice touch. The build quality and speed of delivery are worth much more than the price. Good job Flexispot!
