The brightness is seriously impressive—it lights up everything clearly, even in darker job sites or tight spaces. The beam is clean and consistent, not spotty like cheaper lights. What really stands out is the build quality. It feels solid in your hand, not flimsy at all, and you can tell it’s made to take a beating. This is a pretty good work light. None of them are terribly bright. I have a couple of Milwaukee work license and they’re all very similar. I do think that this Flex one is really nice that it has a metal hanger on the top rear, I’ll throw a carabiner on that and it is super handy. I would like to purchase another one, but I won’t unless the price is lower. I have heard some people have issues with the trigger/on and off button, but time will tell, it seems fine to me. ... show more

I bought this during a Black Friday sale to add to my collection of FLEX tools. Although I did not really need the light I felt it would be a great emergency light when power goes out or when working outdoors in the dark. The light is not too heavy and has great adjustability. It is also well built and has good light intensity. I have a number of FLEX products and all of them are great. The lifetime warranty is also a big plus. Just make sure to register online and select the extended warranty option (no additional cost) when you register. I should mention that I had an issue with one of my FLEX batteries and the FLEX customer service rep was first rate. She helped me register tools that I had forgotten to register and sent me a replacement battery very quickly. More of a warm yellow than a white light. But still nice and bright. And the 3 settings are an added touch. The magnets are plenty strong enough to hold it up as well. Most lights like these end up being too heavy for the weak magnets they used. These hold great.
