Description

Cummins Fleetguard Filtration's crankcase ventilation systems are innovative products using patented technologies to control oil drip and crankcase emissions in diesel engine applications. The open crankcase ventilation (OCV) systems provide superior aerosol filtering of crankcase emissions, commonly known as blow-by. Blow-by is the result of high pressure gases and oils escaping around piston rings and venting to the atmosphere. This oily mist attracts dust and airborne particles, resulting in an accumulation of contaminants, both on the engine and on the surface beneath it. This condition increases the clean-up required in the engine compartment, as well as unsightly oil drips on highways, bodies of water, parking lots, crops, garage floors and driveways. I know it says fleetguard on the package but it was the same as the one I took out. This was the one that was in the truck from when it was new. This filter is identical to the factory CCV filter that was in my 2020 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. The entire process took about 15 minutes. To reset the service light with your foot off the brake push the start button twice to set the truck on “run” then press the brake pedal twice and then slowly press the accelerator twice then press the start button again to set the ignition to off and then start the truck. ... show more

This is basically the oem CCV for your diesel ram at a fraction of the cost and it's actually pretty easy to replace just a few 8mm and pop off the cover, pry up on filter, place new one and close her up
