Description

Cummins Fleetguard Filtration's crankcase ventilation systems are innovative products using patented technologies to control oil drip and crankcase emissions in diesel engine applications. The open crankcase ventilation (OCV) systems provide superior aerosol filtering of crankcase emissions, commonly known as blow-by. Blow-by is the result of high pressure gases and oils escaping around piston rings and venting to the atmosphere. This oily mist attracts dust and airborne particles, resulting in an accumulation of contaminants, both on the engine and on the surface beneath it. This condition increases the clean-up required in the engine compartment, as well as unsightly oil drips on highways, bodies of water, parking lots, crops, garage floors and driveways. Easy to install just take the cover off pop out the part install the new one put the cover back on . every 60000 miles for me makes my truck run a lot better when pulling. They say you should rebuild or clean your EGR at the same time though. I have 329,000 miles on the truck and will rebuild the EGR the next time I replace the filter. ... show more

Exact OEM replace for our trucks. Fit the 6.7L cummins in our 15 &16 ram 5500 and our 16 ram 3500. Much better value than going to the local parts store. The cost of two from here was cheaper than one from the local store.

2016 Dodge 2500 with a 6.7L Cummings. Factory filter MADE IN THE USA. NAPA sells a China filter for OVER $120, this filter at NAPA list for $186!! NO JOKE

$150 not well spent. Both filter flanges were broken upon receipt. This filter will not seal without this flange. Please send these in a secondary box, shipping companies drop kick items to their locations, unacceptable.
