It works very well! I love the design on it and how it works. The only knock I have on it is that the first time I used it I tried out the glove that it comes with and the non-slip rubber-y material on it melted onto the straightener. It was no big deal and I just wiped it off and waited for it to cool down. Still and overall amazing straightener!

I straighten my hair everyday with a $20 name brand straightener from my local big box store. I was offered this one to review as a Vine reviewer. At unboxing I really liked it. The straightener has a nice smooth yet grippy rubbery finish. It has a case that you can put it in once it’s cooled off to keep it closed. The cord is really long, which would be good for hotel use where the nearest outlet isn’t always close by. It also came with two clips and some kind of glove that I can’t quite figure out. The instructions were clear. After plugging it in it lit up and it was easy to figure out how to use. One button to turn on, one button to adjust the temperature. I have thick hair and as I said, I straighten it every morning. This straightener did a pretty good job. Like my regular straightener I had to go over sections several times to get it as straight as I wanted it. But it was no better than my less expensive straightener from the little big box. It was basically the same- it did a good job.

This is an amazing straightener. I was about to buy a significantly more expensive one, but I figured I should give this a try. It heats up so fast and works so well. WORTH IT!!

A very pretty green and pink colored hair straightener tool that can be used to straighten or add a bit of curl to your hairstyle. This one has a silicone heat resistant top that you can slide over to hold the straightener in a closed/lock position when transporting. This has a 360 degree cord to help it swivel for easy usage and a longer than average cord providing adequate length for me to plug this in and be able to have good reach in my bathroom area. The power button is located on the inside of the handle where you can also select between varying temperature settings from 300F-450F. Heats up quickly and did a decent job straightening my hair. I tried to curl my hair with this as well and while it did create a wavy look, it didn't last as long as other hair tools I have used. I also didn't like that the floating plates seemed to snag my hair when I tried to use this to curl my hair, often catching my hair and yanking it whenever I tried to twirl this to create a curl. This came with one heat protecting glove and 2 alligator clips.

This is a fantastic straightener with a fun, vibrant aesthetic—I love the green and orange! It heats up incredibly fast (in less than a minute) and offers adjustable temperatures from 300°F to 450°F. The inch-wide, floating ceramic plates glide smoothly without pulling hair, and the rounded edges make it easy to curl hair as well. The extra-long, swiveling cord adds convenience, and the auto-shutoff feature turns it off after 60 minutes for safety. What really stands out is the included silicone sleeve, which acts as a heat-protectant barrier when storing it while warm—a first for me! The rubberized grip feels secure, and I appreciate that the controls are tucked inside the handle to prevent accidental adjustments. Overall, this straightener is a winner!

I am surprised by how much I like this hair straightener. When I tried it for the first time my hair seemed to just glide through. I live where it is humid and after straightening my hair it stayed that way. I have an older Chi straightener that I have used on and off for years and it is now in the trash. This Aleelai flat iron never pulled my hair, it heats up very quickly, and it has a great heavy long cord. The iron comes with a heat glove which I should probably use as I have been known to burn my hand and 2 hair clips which I have been using. The iron has a light that stays on if the unit is plugged in even if it is off. I only turn my iron off but don't unplug it so I am getting use to seeing the light. I do like that there are several addition lights that come on when the iron is turned on so you definitely know it is in use. It is easy to use and keep a good grip while using. While color does not really matter to me, this unit is actually very fun looking. For the price, this seems to be a very well made product and I expect I'll get many years of use from it. I am very happy with this flat iron.

Every time I turn it on, within 10 seconds it turns off and I have to turn it back on. It also pulls my hair and is tough sliding down my hair. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I’ve never had any problems with a straighter before. Not the best for curling. The only good thing is it heats up very fast once you can get it to stay on.
